Not expensive food-place in Amsterdam with traditional Holland food

Hi!

I'm going to Amsterdam in January, so could you help me with some food-places there?
Could you advice me good but not expensive cafe, bar or restaurant in Amsterdam with traditional Holland food? I mean cheese, soups, fish, broodijes etc.
Somewhere not far from Rembrants Plain?

How much could it cost to have average dinner there?

Thank you!

This is kind of late but it might be of use to other travelers to Amsterdam... Traditional Dutch pancakes can be found at a cafe called Pannenkoeken Upstairs. An entree here is under 10euros. In the side streets around rembrandlplein there are also many restaurantsthat serve traditional dutch food mainly: kip sate (originally Indonesian chicken in peanut sauce) and stampot (mashed potatoes with mixed in vegetable and meatball or sausage on top - just about as good as it sounds). Typical bar fare is bitterballen (deep friend stew) and various other deep fried cheese/meet combos; they're snacks that go well with beer. In most places you can have a meal for around 20euros; 10euros is considered cheap here.

Hello Kirill 😊

Be sure to try the Dutch typical fast food places too. I love them. French fries with various Dutch style cheese or meat snacks. Not great for the waistline, but delicious and inexpensive.

And I also recommend the speciality pancake restauants that are everywhere in the Netherlands. They dont sell anything except pancakes with a wide variety of toppings to choose from.
