Checked out the cruises visiting Santorini and Mykonos and found most sail out of Athens on fridays (which we can't do, since we arrive on a friday) or mondays (which then get back on a friday, which we again can't do coz we depart athens on a friday). This leaves us no choice but to do our visit of the 2 islands on our own. So my question is : are there any ferry passes good for a week? I thought we can island-hop and stay in the island we fancy. And is it easy to get accommodations around end March-early April? | Spain07 Ryan Bader Post Count: 46 Msg: #2 355 days ago, December 3rd 2008 | march april is actually the slow season in the islands... we stayed for 15 a head in a house on the beach in mykonos... everyone had a bed too. | i went into athens and based my trip around the ferries, but i recall them sailing all the time and not just on certain days... i have a blog about the some greece travel island hoping doesnt really work, i dont think there are any that go between the islands, wow im not much help haha liliram liliram Post Count: 387 Msg: #3 354 days ago, December 3rd 2008 | Hey, that's ok. We'd probably concentrate on santorini and check out the B&Bs in the area, then ferry back to Athens through Mykonos. I'd check out your blog in a while, maybe I can pick up more tips there. LOL. But really, thanks. | zank zank bennett Post Count: 3 Msg: #4 352 days ago, December 5th 2008 | Aah, Mykonos. What a terrific island. I stayed there a little over a year ago. I absolutely have to recommend a great place to stay. I've sent three friends there from the US and everyone has loved it. It's a budget-friendly place. The owner's name is Yiannis and his email is <snip>. It's called Hotel Omiros. | I'm nearly positive he remembers me, as we played guitar out on the deck overlooking the water and had a terrific time. Might be worth a mention :) Other than that, Santorini. It's so amazing, words can't do it justice. Best of luck. -Zank [Edited: 17:25 - Mell - Please exchange email addresses via the private messaging system. ] liliram liliram Post Count: 387 Msg: #5 352 days ago, December 5th 2008 | Thanks, zank.
