Has anyone been to Bucharest Romania, or are you from there? What do you think about it? How are the people (young/old), the culture, the food, the night life, and the cost of living? Any information would be really helpful, also pictures as well!! Thanks

Hello Katie 😊

I was there, but that was around 10 years ago. It was certainly not as expensive as cities in Western Europe and the people were very friendly. It was New Years and I was invited to lots of parties while I was there. The traditional Romanian food is OK as long as you are not a vegetarian. They probably also have lots of international restaurants in Bucharest by now.

It's a wonderful place - do enjoy the hot springs, they're amazing!

Good luck and enjoy yourself.

It's great. I like Bucharest. It's not a pretty city by any stretch of the imagination, but has some great night life and bars to relax in. Very good value for money, especially with the exchange rate the way it was - last time I went, I gor over 50,000lei to GB Sterling, which was good for me. Reply to this

I invited to see Bucharest. Much moore about my citty, see on: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bucharest and - http://www.romaniatourism.com/bucharest.html. People are verry friendly and on any places you go, speak in english because all people are wndertund and speak minimum one foreign language. For acomodation, you choice between simple hotels and luxury hotels ( MARIOTT, HILTON, INTERCONTINENTAL ). Prices are verry good and cheap wherre are you go.

Bucharest is cheap. The nightlife is great. Romanian dishes are tasteful. Romanian girls are very beautiful. Romanian people are friendly. This is some useful information regarding Bucharest, Romania, I must say. :D
