Can anyone tell me the best place to book a cheap ticket?

Hi everybody 😊

I'm planning to start my australian trip very soon, I've looked around for cheap tickets but - stupid me - I've waited too long to buy my ticket,

I want to fly to Australia in 1-2 weeks already if possible but it's all so expensive, I'm looking for a 1-way ticket so I can buy my ticket back out (staying 1 year) when it's still cheap over there :-) anyone have any tips where to look? I've already looked at the internet, 3 travel agencies helped me but couldnt find a very cheap one theirselves, the cheapest one was €1700 (2-way ticket) & was next week already but that's really a lot! cheapest 1-way was around €1100, still a lot if it's only 1 way. Anybody has some nice ideas? I live in Belgium, looking for a ticket Brussel-Melbourne, as soon & cheap as it can be 😊 thank you everyone, I'll send a card if you can help me :P Reply to this

Hello Jeroen 😊

The cheapest way is generally to buy on the internet. Agents charge a fee of usually around 10%! (MISSING)

The site I usually use to buy long haul tickets is www.billigfluege.de

To get the best price be flexible about which day you fly on. ie search for flights for different days, because the price can vary depending on which day you fly on. Also searching in different languages can make a difference. I am flying to India from Germany next December. There was a difference of over 100 Euros in the price for the same flight when I searched in Geman instead of English.

Hi Jeroen

Another good site that I recently found is www.terminala.co.uk My fella got a really cheap one way ticket home from Bangkok - they were the cheapest site by miles on a short notice flight....

When I travel, I usually find out which airline anchors the airport I'm flying to and try to book directly through them. It's usually the cheapest. Or, use a powerful travel engine/agent. Check out www.mangoestravel.com. Reply to this

Seriously, if you want to get dirt cheap airline tickets without having a travel agent or searching a ton of travel websites

Hello everyone, I've tried all your sites but with the prices still rising it's hard to find a cheap one in my favoured time, I went to a travelagent last friday, he froze the cheapest ticket he could find and I'm happy I chose that because the prices are even higher now and I bought that one ticket today 😊 thanks or all the hints, I'm sure someone else will be helped by reading this topic 😊

A few days ago I blogged about this. There is an ebook from a former travel agent who reveals the secrets about how to always get cheap flights. Reply to this

Here is a link to the information referred to in Msg 8.

''I Was Fired By The Airlines.
This Guide Is My Revenge! "

Does anyone know why the airline fired the guy?

You can find also find some tips atif you are interested in reducing the price of your tickets or at least require the basics of independent online airfare search.

I have heard so many times about that e-book but never bought it ... something tells me its a rip off.

Has anyone read this book and can comment?
It smells like a fraud, but I can't help wondering if it's true or not. Reply to this

If you pay money for books and information about how to get cheaper flights, I think it kinda defeats the purpose....

Yes, but this is 25$ we're talking about. If you save hundreds of dollars on flights, it could be worthwhile Reply to this

Seems to me if he really wanted revenge on the airlines, he would just offer the information for free. I don't buy it. Reply to this
