Couple weeks ago a friend of mine and me had a short trip in Hungary (Budapest). It's a beautiful city!
You have to see this! People are kind, the city is gorgeous. We found a very pretty accomodation in the middle of the city for good price.
If you are interest visit this website: <snip>There are nice accomodations. You will find one sure.
Bye!

We had a one-week trip in Budapest. We stayed in a hotel near to the Western Railway Station, caalled Easy Hotel, here: http://uk.video.yahoo.com/watch/3049615/8703000
and i liked it because it was almost in the city centre. We found this hotel about a funny advert:) My husband i only had to pay 15 €/night for two of us! i think it was very cheap. We also liked the food, and it was cheap too, and the people were nice! So i think a trip in Budapest is affordable.

I also recommend Budapest. It's far more interesting than the other small countries and is dividend into 2 sector Buda and Pest, united by a bridge. I don't recommend a certain place to stay at, however you can search your own place <snip>
I really hope this answered your question.
