Hi everybody again. After meeting Aimar again (whom as you can imagine from his blog almost abandoned us for a good pair or reassons...ha, ha) here we write you from Belem where we are more than ready to start our boat trip to Manaus sailing along the amazon river. Anyway, Rocio an me made a quick stop in Fortaleza before heading directly to one of the 10 best beaches in the world, JERICOACOARA, what an incredible place, a remote beach which you can only reach by 4X4 and with 30 metres high dunes overlooking the sea. But nothing of this would be same without caipirinhas, what a great discovery!!!! just try to imagine the feeling of hanging in a hammoc, drinking a cold caipirinha on the sadow and thinking about the fact that inmigration should be on the opposite direction...ha, ha. So after several beautiful and relaxing days we made a more cultural stop in a colonial town called Sao Luis (beautiful) and from there
we arrived in Belem where we have joined an interesting bunch of people (a german girl, an english guy and the three of us) with whom we are going to be travelling for the next 6 days in a boat, sleeping in hammocs, crossing the amazon river and contributing with our tasty blood to the growth of the amazons mosquito population. Talk to you all in the next blog, and remember, don´t work too hard...
