Not far from Noosa Heads (where we played with the waves on the body boards) is the late Steve Irwin's Australia Zoo and we couldn't resist going for a visit. We found it rather pricey but they do have an awful lot of animals and the staff put on some good shows too. Feeding the enormous crocodiles was probably everyone's favourite, closely followed by patting some animals that the keepers ... read more
