Presidential Palace

A few weeks after we were here, we saw in the papers that the president was greeting the repatriation of boxes of artifacts from Machu Picchu on the steps of this palace as though they were foreign dignitaries. Following a tour around this square, we walked down a street beside the palace to tour a convent and church catacombs. Eeew.
Having a helados good time

Another nice day in Miraflores. We had a shopping list before returning to the high places, so attended to those this morning (new flip-flops and haricuts for Abbey and Harold, more sunscreen, a t-shirt for Pauline).
