Ann here -- okay, we're not sure how people can survive in this weather! Hotter then hot, add in humidity, then (for the fun of it) rain like crazy in the afternoon. We were spoiled by the weather in NY. While we were there, we had 80 degree weather with no humidity to speak of. Everyday makes us totally appreciate the weather back home. Inspired by our friend Tina (aka, ), we decided to create this travel blog to post photos / adventures from our upcoming trip to NY / DC. This will be our first cross country family trip. Should have some fun stories to report. Hard to believe, but Katherine graduated from high school this past May. We figured we should get a nice family trip in before she heads to UC Santa Cruz in the fall. We'll be spending 11 days with my oldest brother (Phil) and his wife (Mary) in Stamford, CT.
