Magnetic Island
Full moon party Hey Everyone,
I have just experienced my most amazing day since being on the land of Oz - on Thursday 2nd November I booked myself onto a dive trip with a company called Adrenalin Dive to go see the S.S. Yongala ship wreck which sunk in 1911 during a cyclone, it lay undiscovered for more than half a century - with all its history and the view of the wreck was absoultely out of this world - I jumped on the boat from Magnetic Island at 7.50am, it took about 3 hours from Magnetic Island to get to the wreck but on the boat journey I suffered real bad sea sickness and for some unknown reason i thought it was a good idea to have a carrot for breakfast...but Noooo -any way less of the nasty / embarrassing stuff... we finally arrived at the wreck kitted up and jumped into the warm waters, once i was under - floating and swimming around i managed to see sharks, various types of rays, turtles, snakes more nemo's some of the fishes were nearly the same size as me... and no i didn't see a whale 😊 the sea life out there was
Magnetic Island
Random man at full moon party just amazing, visibility was perfect could see approx 20m and the coral which has grown onto the wreck over the years was bright and so colourful just like you see when you see pictures of the reef but without any help with photo shop! After such an amazing day I was exhausted so caught an early night ready for our big party night....
THE FULL MOON PARTY!!!!!
3rd November full moon party night and it just so happens we're staying at a place called Base on Magnetic Island where the party is at!!! Ozzie's full moon party will be nothing incomparison to Thailands (when we get there) but I had a wicked night danced the night away till the wee hours in the morning (7am!) - even managed to see the sun rise whilst dancing on the beach decking - got some awesome pictures... all the girls flaked and went to bed early'ish but me and Stacey were hard core - we met some very odd typical looking hill billy's with no teeth was very amuzing.
We leave Magnetic Island tomorrow am and we're off to Airlie Beach which will be about a 5 hour bus journey

check me out! niceeee. Whilst in Airlie we're doing our trip to the Whitsundays staying on a boat named Boomerang, i will be stopping off at the chemist enroute to get some sea sickness tablets as we will be sailing day and night - sleeping on the boat as well as partying 😊 I suppose i could now blame being hung over onto being sea sick now... hmmm wonder if I get away with that!? will let you know how that goes.
I hear its VERY cold in the UK... just to make it worse for you sun lovers (like myself...) Oz summer time has just begun - we're now 2 days into summer and it is roasting, don't worry Lilly i'm still on the factor 30 and 60 making sure i'm a good girl... but the sun oil is looking very tempting... (JOKE!)
I'm off to pack my backpack up now... this is becoming a real pain having to pack every other day - but i'm sure soon enough i'll get used to it - it can only become easier with experience right??? here's hoping!!! i think the idea of dumping some clothes is looking more appealing every day!

check me out!
