Packed up all our suitcases and got set to leave V's apt. M came at 1230. Went to lunch buffet place Vindu's Indian Cuisine. Veeran and co. joined us at 1.15. After lunch went to Veeran's place. Played 56 for close to 6 hours! At 9 went to Downtown. Saw a park, had gelato (as we were eating Owen Wilson came in and got an ice-cream) and bid goodbye to Veeran and others. Then saw M's new apt building 'Post', where she will be shifting shortly. Came to her apt for night stay.... read more

Early morning-to Tom Thumb and back. Madhu came for lunch. After lunch went to Mary Kay office. Then to Madhu's house. Veeran and family were going out to a botanical garden and expected back at 5.30...so to kill time went to $1 theatre in Plano. Randomly decided to go for 'This means War' (of the ten movies running there)...it was quite good. After movie came home, rested for a while and went to Veeran's place. Played 56 till 10.30pm. Gave Jack. Uma also was there. Played Sr Vs Jr - 8 players - till Madhu left at 830. Veeran dropped us back. Watched Modern Family before going to bed.... read more

N and I walked to Tom Thumb a mini mall. It took 30 mins to reach there. N made Dosa for breakfast. Madhu came at 11.15 to pick us up. I drove the car back to her apartment. The only confusion I had was the switching of left and right between the indicator and wiper switches. Ofcourse I did not stop at the stop sign once, because I could not see any moving objects in the 360 degree radius. Madhu went to gym and came back. Got up at 230 and worked till 6am. V was studying for the exam late in the night and again after 6am using the laptop. Slept till 8am. 8 to 9 went walking with N around UTD campus. Jacob joined us for lunch. It was not at 8 am when we walked around UTD campus. But it became quite hot by noon. N does not drink water from the fountains... it was $1.20 for either a bottle of water or coke from the vending machine. So did not buy. Got water/dr pepper free alongwith Pizza at 3.30pm. I took lots of pizzas and distributed to Viswam's team who was standing near their poster.
