Ponca City is about 15 miles east of Interstate 35 and in my opinion is well worth the drive off the mail road. The first thing you will note upon entering Ponce City is the massive occupation of Continental Oil Refinery. CONOO also contain Phillips 66. There is a museum across the road form the corporate office and entry is free. After passing through town there is the E.W.Marland Estate which Marland built in 1925. It is operated by the city and can bed toured for a small fee. Next door is a school that is part of the old estate. Marland was an oilman and former governor.
