Left Melbourne at around 10.00a.m. and arrived New York 5.30p.m. taking about 23 hrs. Had meet and assist organised for each airport and that worked really well, wheelchair...then taken through almost immediately through the Express counters...glad we did it as some of the walks were really long. Changed planes in LA with about 20 minutes to spare... A380 to LA then 747 to New York.. collected out hire car then drove to our home away from home in Union City. Lovely apartment with a great view of the Manhattan skyline.. 2 bedroom 2 bathroom with everything you need. Took a walk around the neighbourhood and had a pizza and refreshing beer for dinner at a local Italian restaurant. Didn't get to our apartment until nearly 8.00p.m. Bed 10.30 and ready for a day of exploring with
