Got woken up early (9.30am) but the lovely LV... We were a little mad... and Michelle wasn't feeling the greatest... She was ok though! It was more that she did something to her knee when she got into bed... definitely something not right... So she ended up staying in instead of site seeing in New Orleans... As did I! I wasn't going to go anyway - New Orleans to me is all about the Jazz and nightlife... Not crappy souvineer shopping =P
So we really didn't do much - I reorganised my suitcase (it was messy again a couple of hours later..), then Michelle, Scott and I stayed in, watching telly and on the net and chatting.
For lunch i went to Burger King which was a 2 minute walk away.
We had an optional Contiki dinner planned, at Bubba Gump's Shrimp. Carl and I weren't too keen on the seafood idea, so we headed again for the Hard Rock Cafe, situated across the road, so that was fairly easy.
Finished around the same time as the rest of the group, so headed again to Bourbon Street. It was alright... nothing special... To explain how seedy Norlans is, the place across the road had heaps of graphic photographs of the live shows they had on inside. It was quite sickening!
We didn't stay out for long, we were only really out because it was a few people's last night before they left. Extremely sad!
Michelle and I left and went in search up and down Bourbon Street for postcards... Finally found some, then hopped in a cab and headed back to the hotel for some well deserved sleep!
