3rd of December:
We arrived 3.45 a.m in Orlando and got picked up by our first Florida host Grag. We slept 4 hours and went to the Airport afterwards to rent a car. In the evening we arrived at Travis place, who will be our host for the next couple of nights. Just before we arrived at his place a tire from his car broke. Since he wanted to show the city he drove us around in an old Limousine he bought for business reasons.
4th of December:
We spent the day basically at Travis place, since it was raining all day. We went out for food, but otherwise we spent time with our host, his friend and his brother. In the evening we had chineese dumplings, that that the previous Couchsurfers left in the freezer. Thanks to them, who ever they might be... it was delicous.
We (Anna-Pauline, Claudia and Urska) are students on two schools (DNS and PTG/DAgskole) in Tvind. We decided to organise a six week study travel in USA. Our aim is to learn about modern pedagogy and American culture and society.
Our aim is to visit various schools, research centers and other institutions.
We will travel from Chicago along the east coast to Orladno. During this time we will use public transportations and hitchhike. We will be sleeping in cheap accomodation, hospitality club, coach surfing and good people that we meet on the road.
