Day 2 - Washington

Today was another day of full travelling. Got to LAX by 8 for a 9am flight. Andrew was very very uptight and nervous about the security checks. It was queue after queue. Pls we had to ay $20 each o tske luggage on the plane. No-one had told us that.

By the time we got to our hotel in Washington DC it 7pm. So we lost another day. Went to a “pub” type place fr dinner that the lady at the front desk recommended... and YES the meals are massive. The waiter was laughing at our reactions to it all.

Decided to go for s little wander and funnily enough, we stumbled across the White House!! We were so excited. Went past the main entrance and a sea of police drove past and stopped traffic while about 5 black cars were escorted in. Andrew was like a kid on Christmas Morning.

Arrived back at the hotel to a bottle of Chandon and strawberries dipped in Chocolate... Go the Honeymoon Card. Champa’s was a great finish to the day.
