So I have arrived home in one piece, I apollogize for the last blog I was just rampantly writing to get it all out. I flew out of Buenos Aires :( at 8:30pm. I was questioned until I was blue in the face about my connection when I got to Seattle. Turns out you have to have proof you are leaving the US once you arrive. They also thought that my passport was fake.... seriously? Thankfully I had my BC ID with me. Ridiculous. I went through customs and got to my boarding area, only to have my stuff checked through again. Some would call the Argentinians thorough I would call overly paranoid. I boarded the plane and met a guy from Denmark, he was reading a book about Rum so I mentioned the gem book ... read more

My first entry in our travel blog is coming from James's mom's living room at about 1:20am. We are doing some last minute surfing, and basically trying to book things so when we get to London James will be let into the country with no problems! This past week has been crazy with packing up our whole apartment, and putting everything we own into storage. Even though we've done all this moving, it still hasn't really sunk in that we're going to Europe tomorrow. I'm super excited! I guess the next time you'll hear from me will be from the UK somewhere. Once we get to London we are planning to drive to Darlington (northern England) to pick up Ernie! He's our new VW van that we bought on ebay over the weekend. He's sweet....I'll ... read more

Hiya, Not much has been happening over the last couple of days. Monday was a public holiday BC day so all the signs told me I had to hug a Canadian, I was more than happy to oblige. We went to Cultus Lake which is about an hours drive from home. Steve took the kids to the Waterslides, I went wandering around the town for an hour then I was gonna meet them in there. Stopped at the pizza bistro (god I feel like I have written this already) for a beer, met a few people who bought me a drink and were telling me where I should go while I am here & what I should see. Got an sms from Steven saying it's 5pm, we are coming out now.......oopps, lost track of time. Before ... read more

Ohhh my goodness. I kinda feel like that is how most of my entries are going to start. Spent the WHOLE day recovering from last night. I did things & saw things that......oh I can't even say!!! I wondered around the house avoiding Steven laughing at me most of the day, then I progressed to the couch....they have 52 channels here, it's ace!!! Had a shower at about 3pm, then Steve went back to bed & it was my turn to laugh at him. Just had hamburgers on the BBQ for dinner and we are going to veg out infront of the tube & watch a movie. I met heaps and heaps and heaps of people last night, we started at about 8:30 and got home at 7am. They all just wanted me to talk all ... read more

It's funny, it does feel like home. We took the shorter trip home today which was only a 5 hour drive. We didn't make it to Whistler, we'll go another day. It is a beautiful 27 degrees today & it is just perfect. Steve has been keeping me entertained with his singing (the 4th member of the Bee Gees) but it's staight how as soon as I start to sing the radio goes on & the kids go to sleep....mmmmm. Crossing the Pacific did nothing to improve my singing talents. I am loving spending time with his kids they are happy to believe any B.S that I come out with. I told them I would make them Wombat Stew for dinner, they were not too keen. Yesterday we went to a gorgeous Golf Course for lunch ... read more

Hi all, I am here safe and sound, well not so sound thanks to Dirty Steve taking me out drinking to all hours, hence the hangover. I even sang Karoke!! An absolute kak as I was in like a Country & Westen bar & had no idea what the hell song I was singing but the chick I was singing with, who was completely outrageous & wanted me to live with her, had every faith that I would make a terrific back up singer....What a laugh. We got home around 1ish and yes this is straight after a bloody long flight and no rest, got my second wind and made Steve still & talk to me for hours. Then I really needed to sleep but still wanted to listen to his groovy accent so I made ... read more

July 4th, 2006: White Rock and Peace Arch We went to Peace Arch boarder crossing and walked through the gardens. There, many different kinds of art were on display. The children took pictures of the eclectic sculptures and walked up the hill towards the Peace Arch. Everyone laughed at the idea that they were in two countries at the same time! Then we went to White Rock. We all walked down the pier on the beautiful summer day, and enjoyed the ocean and hustle and bustle of the busy dock. July 5th, 2006: Bowling and Willowbrook Mall First we went to the bowling ally in Langley city. The kids had a blast with the “ultimate bowling” with blue lights, lasers, and music. We all got on teams and just had fun, seeing who could get the ... read more

Also perfekt fuer Eislaufen. ... read more
