Skiing in Cortina

Hi

Part of my trip early next year is skiing in Cortina, Italy for 8 days and i was wondering has any one ever been there before?

I like so many other people am finding it hard to deal with thet itialian rail system / time tables and prices, as they have not yet released them for winter.

I am traveling from Munich and didnt want to have to go all the way to venice to travel back to cortina on the touristy way,,i was hoping to try a back way in????

Any one done this before?
