Back on the autrostrade. Along the way to Paris we encountered full snow cover (off the road). Stopped along the way and the kids were excited to have a full layer of snow to play with, and there was a light fall as well. Listening to more Roald Dahl - 'The Witches' - with passing fog and snow adding extra eerie effect. Driving through Paris was not too back, just had to keep an eye on the neighbouring cars and leave plenty of room for the motor bikes and bicycles.

Accommodation is an apartment in Saint-Michel on the 5th floor, with no lift. The owners met us outside so I dropped family and luggage off (no parking available on a one-way street) and parked in a nearby parking station. When I finally got back everyone was upstairs - with luggage - so I got out of that. The owners were very friendly and gave some useful tips before they left. The apartment is essentially the loft of the building. Here is a link

Did a little food shopping around the Saint-Michel, ate out and then relaxed in our new abode. Plan to get a bus tour tomorrow and visit the Eiffel Tower.
