Antibes
The beachWell mom finally made it, signaling that I have officially lived in France for two whole months!!! AH so crazy. It was so great to see my mom, she looked a little travel weathered when I picked her up, but can you blame her, it was a good 18 hours of traveling, just to come see me, that’s when you know your momma love ya!! Well our first night together consisted of us resting in my apartment, cooking a fantastic dinner of BBQ chicken pizza, and catching up. Our second day I gave her the tour of Antibes, showed her the beaches, the open market, and the different little look outs around the town. For the weekend we decided to go to Italy, Cinque Terre, which are five little fishing villages nestled in the cliffs of the Italian Riviera. It was AMAZING!! We went to all five towns via train, beside the one that we walked to. There is actually a trail that you can take if you are hard core, which is what many people do, they have their hiking boots and hiking sticks and are all geared up for a long and intense day of hiking. Mom in Antibes we trained it. Over all our Italian adventure was really relaxing and enjoyable! The days to follow I showed mom Nice and Monaco. Both which she liked, although she definitely favored the beautiful state of Monaco. With the casino and palace! I really enjoyed my time with my mom, it was so great to be able to share with her my life here in France, she was able to see the way I live and meet my roommates and some of the new friends that I have met here. I was sad to see her go, but I will be home before we know it! Back to my routine in France!

that is so exciting! did your mom totally love it? you introduced her to some good food right? you better have girl because that's the best part of travelling!!! wells shnukum, i am dearly missing your smily face... you took the sunshine with you to europe, it seems, since it's only fog and clouds and rain...... sniff.... oh and wind.... but its looks like your guys are having good weather there.... nice nice.... anymoos.... luv ya and miss hun!
