ST Patrick's Day London

Since we couldn't organise to go to Dublin for St Patrick's Day we decided to stay in London and celebrate with the poms. Unfortunately the weather was miserable so we didn’t rush down to the the parade in a hurry. We decided to go on the bus to Piccadilly Circus and what great timing as soon as we got off the bus the parade started.

There was music, bag pipes, marching bands, children on stilts a giant sculptured movable bird with a leprechaun on top. The costumes and colours were cool. Dale and I were freezing it was definitely the coldest, wettest windiest day in the month that we have been here. I couldn't feel my hands (off course I forgot to bring my gloves).

To warm up we went to the pub for my first pint of guinness which was not too bad.
