Enjoying the sunshine

Hello again everyone! It's been awhile since we've posted any new updates so we thought we'd drop in to let you all know that everything is going well! It's been a month now since we came back to England. For the first few weeks we saw nothing but rain, but this past week the weather has been gorgeous! England on Vacation

Its that time of year again..time for a vacation, and where else but sunny old England. Contrary to popular belief England can actually have very nice weather and this past week has been no exception. 'not quite as hot as I'm used to but nonetheless sunny enough to warrant shorts for a large number of people I pass on the street. 4 legged puppy had to stay in Costa Rica for this trip and apparently is suffering from a small bout of depression but THe month will fly by I'm sure! IT'S OUR LUCKY DAY!

Yesterday was our lucky day! Before the school day started we had a staff briefing in the staff room. All of the staff who have not had a day off since the beginning of the school year were entered into a draw. Both of us were among the names entered and the prize for the draw was a day off! A BRIEF UPDATE

The last couple of weeks have been fairly uneventful. Work has been going well, despite the fact that the kids are pretty wired because Christmas holidays are only 2 weeks away. This coming week is going to be insane. All of our year 7 - 9 classes have Maths progress tests, which means that we'll be spending romantic evenings marking test papers. We're completely knackered! That's about all we can say! For some reason this past week has been incredibly busy. We had a hell of a start to our week on Monday. We went to catch the 7:30 am bus, but it never showed up! We ended up having to take a taxi to work when we realized the bus wasn't coming and we'd be late if we didn't do otherwise. Buckingham Fair

Today was a fun day! We spent the afternoon at a fair in Buckingham with our house mates and another friend, Melissa. We left Aylesbury at 2:30 pm and spent a few hours at the fair. We haven't been to a fair in ages! It was fun just walking around, going on rides, eating bad-for-you foods and playing games.
