-Portugal Rules - Gutted this is the end of the tour but a great place to finish it. We made the most of our time here as we new that the tour was coming to an end. We definately partied the hardest here, made the most of our hire car (burnouts and drifts on Mcdonalds trays) and genally went hard whateva we were doing. The weather in Portugal was awesome, not quite as hot as Spain and the water was cooler too. The beaches are awesome and are usually surrounded by awesome rock faces. We stopped at a wicked surf beach for a couple of days, and watched the pros who had come from all over to get a bit of Portugal surf (and we smoked ourselves trying to bodysurf in the waves. We also ... read more

well, i didnt find this website until i got back from my travels. i guess that is a good thing; now i get to relive everything in my head. i guess i should start from the beginning. got into lisbon on the 31st of july. i met my brother and walked around the beautiful architecture that makes up the capital of portugal. (sorry there are no fotos yet, but i will try to put them up soon enough). i was very impressed with the buildings, and the way each building complemented of one another, especially when you see them in the hills. beautiful weather was with us the two day we were there. only complaint was the north-east part of the city, the more "modern", "newer" part. it seemed, but i could be very wrong, that ... read more

Off to Portugal!!! Liani and I were up at 4.30am to get ourselves off to Heathrow. We flew first to Brussels, then with TAP airlines to Lisbon. I had requested a vegeterain meal with TAP but they only had parma ham panini's which were pretty rank, but anyway the steward came back and said he would go make me something else, I said it was OK so he returned with a lovely bottle of Portugese red!!! Alright, cant complain about that!!! Anyway it became a bit of a theme throughout the day that the rather low top I was wearing seemed to be resolving certain situations we were getting ourselves into. The next problem happened at Lisbon airport where we were sitting waiting for a flight to be called, and then noticed no-one else around so ... read more

Gutted it's all over for now, flew back to London with the dudes almost a week ago and got a job the next day so there wont be any interesting photos for the next wee while. Portugal was beautiful though, not enough time to really enjoy it but we still got the better part of a week camping our way around the cliffy southern coast and a bit of the east which was really amazing! it wasn't quite as hot down there on the Altlantic coast which was nice, but then as we crossed back over towards Spain on our last day it got up into the high 30's again and thats where we started to see a few of the fires that have been all over the news lately... Portugese is a very cool language, ... read more

We landed in Lisbon, it is funny to see another country speaking the same language(it was our first time). The English speakers probably never have this feeling since they are so used to seeing everything in their own language all over, but for us it was pretty funny! We took a bus to the city center to see more similarities with Brazil. Not only the language, but the architecture is the same! The houses, buildings, churches, streets, all reminds us of Brazil. It's impossible to deny that they are our patriarchs. It's like being in a traditional quarter of São Paulo. Having only few days to stay here, we visited mainly museums. They are all about the navigations, the discovery and conquering of new lands and of course, the great explorers of the 15th and 16th ... read more

18h33 - Chegada a Newark. ... read more

I am not very gifted for writing so I will make it very short and hope that you will enjoy the few pictures. Lisbon is worth a few days break. There are many nice things to visit: the little streets in Alfama, the Bairro Alto, Belem .... and a ride in the typical old tram is a great way to discover part of the city.... read more
