We are in Holland

It was Sunday so hardly any traffic on the road. We never planned that it came out like that, reason our visit to Qatar. We had an easy transfer to the pickup place of Peugeot. The car was ready we just had to do the paperwork and we were of. We were told where we could fuel, that was close by. All good roads and with 400 k.m. to go we did not spend much time the fuel station. We had another stop for a nature call and my urgent need for a cup of coffee. Beautiful roads and no truck traffic for they are not allowed to work weekends. It was nice driving weather and we could sit on 130 k.m. per hour. We arrived in Etten Leur around 4 p.m. Very much welcomed by Hugo and Jola who were standing ready with coffee and apple cake. Other family arrived as well so it was a nice welcome party. Plenty to talk about. We had of course Lof to eat on our first night, so nice. A whole day rain disturbed plans we had so it was house sitting and watching soccer. There was a lot of soccer. It was suppose to be better the next day when we had plans to visit the oldest place in Holland called Dordrecht. Rain or sunshine we went. A very nice place, it has a water that flows through the middle of the city. Pretty old bridges cross the small river that gave the opportunity to shoot some nice pictures. A lunch was a good reason the give the legs a rest. The rain came down again so not much use to walk around. The trip home went well although the rain came down in bucket loads. More soccer that night. Finally we saw the sun again the following day. We had a nice walk to the market in Etten Leur. Things there are always a little cheaper as in the shop. It became a lot warmer outside. Jola put chairs outside. We soon made use of that, with a nice cold beer I felt we were on Holiday. Tomorrow it is Hugo's birthday but we celebrating that today, some people go on holiday that happens around this time of the year. On the last day before we drive of to Germany we will go to Bali. A nice restaurant where we enjoy an Indonesian rice table. That is very enjoyable, We will be back at Jola & Hugo later in our trip. Next story will be from Germany depending on the internet. Not always there.
