We haven't been on here for a while now, we had intended to do a best of blog but that didn't come to fruition in the end partly through denial that the journey had ended and partly through being too busy. Back in 2008 we took 21 months off work, rented out the house, found a foster home for Stuart (cat!) and ventured out to the big wide world. We saw as many places as we could fit in in the time we were on the road and returned home in February 2010 after a truly life changing and eye opening journey.
Our adventure lasted... 615 days!
After our return we fell into the routine of life back in the UK but have always planned to get back out there as soon as we could. It took a bit longer than we'd hoped but we did squeeze in getting married and a few holidays ... full info

Congratulations...
Major congrats guys... We chose an August wedding and it still rained, but that's England for ya... Didnt make any difference though as you well know. Enjoy married life, it rocks!!!! :-)

Great blog, as usual guys. Congrats on the wedding, we are getting married in Lake Garda this year and have decided to backpack around Italy for the honeymoon - have hoped that the Vatican and Rome would be as amazing as it looks and you have confirmed my thoughts!!
