Canal Du Midi Carmen directed us to the Europcar office at the railway station in Montpellier and told us where to go, but it was a one way street. We could see where to drive to but couldn’t get across to it. People who are travelling by car often stop at the locks to witness the spectacle!

This was the deepest and narrowest lock we were in.

More of the crowds that mill around the locks at Brezier where there are 6 continuous locks and over 25 meters of fall

A church in this beautiful town

This was Sunday morning and the on the side of the church was a stall set up with kegs and beer spears ready to go for the Bull festivities today.

Most people have pot plants in their windows.

This was Bastille Day, Dinah's birthday and the end of our wonderful week on the Canal du Midi. From here we caught a taxi to Sete about an hour away.
