Alex Squared Reunited!

I'm a little too tired to write much today, but I thought I'd at least throw up some pictures. Today we had our first full day of class, with a lecture on France from 1789-1814 and then we learned about what we're actually doing work wise over the next 4.5 weeks... so much work!

After the classes, we took a trip to the Hotel de Ville, where the City of Paris's administration is housed. I have included some pictures, it was beautiful inside, although technically it's a recreation given that the original one burned down!

After the trip, I met up with Alex Levy and her family and we went out to dinner at Bistro 17e! It was a lot of fun and it was great to hear about all their trip to Dublin, London and Paris. The food was yummy too, although I can still smell the garlic from Alex's snails!
