After four weeks, five countries and 13 cities (correct numbers depending whether or not you want to count Vilnius, Lithuania in), we are back home, in Otaniemi, Espoo. Journey home was a long day of traveling in a bus from Vilnius to Tallinn, and a ferry from Tallinn to Helsinki. Even though this took all day, I would still say it was a nicer way to travel home compared to simply hopping on a plane. It's always nice to sit in a vehicle and stare at the passing landscapes. This afternoon wasn't the best! It's not that cold here atm, but not so warm either, little bit under the zero. Anyway, I had to go to library to bring back some books which I needed with my final project and some other books. Before I left, I was looking for the car keys, I couldn't find the right keys anywhere. We have two car keys and one of them is broken. (I only found the broken one) I went to car whit these keys, cause I didn't have anything else. At first I tried to open the car, of course it didn't happen, the lock was frozen. Hiking & Fondue Every year our hosts take the students (and me) on a hike to the top of a mountain in a place called Moléson-sur-Gruyères, which is near (above?) where the famous cheese comes from. Actually, most of us (myself included) hike half way up the mountain. From there we ride a gondola the rest of the way. We freeze for a while, then ride the gondola back to the half way point. There's a restaurant there where a fondue feast awaits us. (If you don't already know, click on the video above to hear what hiking in Switzerland sounds like.)
