how cool is this photo oi?!Can you believe that im in the Bahamas?? im honestly still pinching myself!! and the best part is that im on a frickin Cruise ship!! far out!!
A 4 night cruise of the Bahamas after 10 weeks at camp - what more could u ask for?!!!
Have had the best time here. the ship is amazing! its so huge and is just luxury! the foods great, the people are cool, the weather is mint and the islands are tropical! there is never a boring moment.
am doing the cruise with 5 other girls from camp - Jes and Charlie (both from NZ) heather (england) claire (scotland) and Kia (aussie).
the cruise departed from Miami on the 5th sept. we woke up on the 6th to find ourselves docked in the island of Nassau. Checked out some of the sights. was so hot here and had to deal with all the locals - 'hey pretty girl...' 'wanna buy a bag?, only $15...' talk about annoying! but all part of the experience - love it!
Headed out to an island called Coco Cay for the 3nd day, got some wicked sunburn - oh the pain! not good! such
lucky we flew jetblue...
cos it would have been damn borin flyin a bunch of tvs down to miami! a beautiful place. had a balst. spent most of the day in the water, cos its just so warm!
the 4th day went to a place called Key West - another bunch of islands. had to do the whole immigration thing - so another stamp in my passport -yeaha!! im so excited....haha
and then after Key West it was back to Miami, and some big waves along the way - though i slept through them!
Guys the cruise was truly amazing - midnight chocolate buffets (heaven!) funny entertainment at night (shows etc) good night clubs (i know!!!) strong drinks (my goodness! do they want to get us drunk?) an endless supply of food (yep they want to make us fat) amazing islands, good people and.... ahhhhh, the list is endless! if u wanna know what its all about you've just gotta do it!
