Looks like lots of fun! Wow, sounds like you had a lot of fun, and that you took up a great opportunity. Southbank is such a great place, and although I've never stayed at that hotel, it certainly looks like a great place for anyone visiting Brisbane.
Cheers, Wes.
matching t shirts aww I think you look cute! And not at all hot. I love the story about the trees being felled by Nature...hey one way or another....sure would be interesting to know what the owners thought.
I enjoyed your description of the Sacred Grove, the quietness, people writing in their journals etc.
And now I know how the Hill Cumorah came to be...I have a friend who has mowed it!
ooo Vermont looks great - love the trees! And all that green....I appreciated the detail re how they put up the monument - your trip is so full of great blessings:what a wonderful experience. And I am sure that you can 'see' Vermont in your mind and heart even though you didn't take many photographs.
what a fascinating story re your delay - I felt I was there with you rushing back and forth...hey they run in the airport ALL the time on Amazing Race (perhaps they pre organise it)
I have to go back and see if I can find the posts I missed - loving the journey!
re snow and videos clips It's amazing - but not really - how many Aussies have never seen snow. I didnt see snow til I was 20!
Pretty snazzy video streaming - I better keep up with your technical advancements!!!
SLC See I didn't know there was a reflecting pool by the temple.
I heard that there are severe 'allergies' in the theatre where you see The Testament...make people's eyes water!!!
Great photos!
And I got a laugh re Barbershop Quartet convention - don't thing your hubby qualifies does he?
I am enjoying your travels.
Your first trip I read it all thinking you were away now...your green top tricked me!
Interesting to read re Taiwan....I have had students from there and a friend who lived the ex-pat life which was mostly in expensive resturants and Ikea - thanks for the tour....
How was the pollution level?
Any tours more to look forward to?
I was there! But at 7am....by 7:30 its a bit crowded for me
Parking is not a problem when you ride a scooter!
Your photos are great!
Looking forward to the New Farm Park report.
pssst...I resisted the Brownies!
yum yum I am in the Emporium a lot, but not been into Freestyle Too (haha) I must take my gold scooter to meet that chic red one! Those desserts look too good to resist.
Thanks for the tip and keep up the good work - also like how you are treaching your girls resturant skills: what a great idea.
good idea... good idea.. maybe we can charge tourists to pay to look at it...the roof next door is it's possum box... we think it came in when we had the back door open or thru the girls window which was open about 10cms
intruder why not build a possum box and put it up a nearby tree. Entice it with a few pieces of cut up apple. feed it every night for three weeks and soon it will be too fat to get in the whole where it entered.
Well the food isnt the best. I have been on the Kookaburra Queen twice now and the food was below average both times. I think you are paying for the views not the food, so if you are wanting value for money regarding the food you wont be happy
summer days... It sounds like you had a great day. We did too! Troy, Xander and I met some of troys mission friends at the sunshine coast. We had breakfast, went for a swim and then the boys did some cable skiing while us girls cheered them on. I put sunscreen on Xander 3 times and he still got burnt. He LOVED the beach. It was his first time. We should all go together some time soon before the summer runs out!
? So you enjoyed it, huh? The grade above ours in school went on it for their formal and they all came back complaining! That dress looks stunning, who got married?
Where ever you are right at this moment... look at it with a travellers heart
thoughts.... dreams.... notes..... musings....
and of course the reality of travelling along with 3 children in tow!
