Middle East

a trip by Dr Bruce Moon
From: May 1st 2019
Until: June 30th 2019

What started as a discounted tour option developed into a lengthy trip.

Leaving Australia, we headed to Kuala Lumpur for an overnight before heading to Muscat in Oman. A few days in Muscat let us enjoy desert 'life', before a short flight to Amman, Jordan.

In Jordan, we joined a Peregrine Tour of the 'essential' sights of Jordan and into Israel. We departed Israel and headed for Istanbul, Turkey for a few days and even included a quick trip to Gallipoli and Troy.

We said goodbye to Turkey and headed for Rhodes (and other Greek Islands) in the Mediterranean. Having our fill, we went walkabout in Athens viewing the antiquities, before driving into the Greek countryside in a rental car for a couple of weeks.
