New Zealand Solo 2011

Well, off I go again. I was meant to be going to Tasmania with a friend for a retreat which fell through and seeing my annual leave had already been approved I thought 'What the heck, I may as well go somewhere!' So, considering the cheap flights available atm, New Zealand it is!! 😊
In actual fact, even though I had been thinking about NZ for a while, I booked the flights on a whim, in the middle of a nightshift when I may not have been thinking as rationally as I might have been had I not been significantly sleep deprived! :/
So, in a few weeks I leave, by myself, to go see New Zealand, well some of it anyway. I am a bit anxious about traveling alone as a female but am so excited about going. The problem is that most of my friends either have young children whom they can't leave to go OS, or they can't afford to travel, so I am left with two options; 1. Stay home and read The National Geographic, or 2. Travel on my own. I choose to travel on my own because my desire to see the world is greater than my fear of having to do it solo 😊
