And we’re off! After 4 days driving across the country, and another 4 unload, moving furniture, and organizing our house, we have officially started vacationing. It hasn’t quite sunk in yet, since yesterday required 13 hours of driving and today a 5 am start. But, back to the beginning. We started from Raleigh, North Carolina on the 18th of June on a cross-country trip. The plan was to drive across in four days, making only one stop, in Oklahoma. Needless to say, the plan was for an uneventful trip. Fortunately, the plan was a success, at least as much as possible when traveling with two drivers, two cats, a dog, two cars, and little elbowroom.
