Epic coffee?!? Matthew, stop referring to yourself in the third person.
I'm not sure i'm comfortable with you stealing my friends; you know i have so few. It's unfair to muscle in on them when i'm powerless to resist. But it was wonderful to hear your voice on saturday, though next time please be aware that disco time in NZ is really quite early in Brixton.
The lager xx
Blimey - that all sounds v. fab Sounds like you had a fab few days since last blog. No mention of being grumpy and the quality of food seems to be on the up too, although I am glad to see that the beans and beer continue to flow in NZ...

the silliest and naughty-ist hero! Well done you, i'm suprised you didn't get the local papers involved... anything for the chicks. Could the new phrase be 'Chicks dig heros, heros save lives'? Catchy I'm sure u'll agree! Home mon-fri next week so try n give us a bell, would be lovely to hear from you. Take care and enjoy NZ xxx
tumble drier magic "There's something very special about a freshly tumble dried towel"
Aahhhh... Indeed there is. Your mum, my mum and grandma will all be very proud of you... even amongst your beer mumblings you appreciate tumble drier magic! I can't remember if was the Comfort or Lenor fabric softener ads which had a small child heading off on their first school trip... and happily snuggling in to the fresh smelling towel they had with them ;-)
Apologies for lack of comments from me over the last couple of weeks - works been crazy busy, and my new laptop has completely bust so no internet at home. I arrived at the gym about an hour ago... but so far, all I've done is catch up on your news.
Sounds v hot! We had loads of snow on Thursday - 2 big snowmen in the front garden.
Reading on....

Sorry i've not been keeping up with the blog entries... SOmetimes its abit too painful to think of you on the otherside of the world sunning yourself on some ridiculously beautiful beach somewhere.
Am sending you an email now... Enjoy NZ.. Tis my favourite country! Oh, you might bump into catty morgenstern cos think she might be there now!
lots of love k xxxx
Beer in Peru? Hello from Peru! Im currently sat in an internet cafe in Pisac (place where Im staying with a Peruvian family since I arrived on Saturday.) So, when does the mattatour bring you to Peru? Im moving to Huyro (place of Incan project) in next week/10 days, then will be based there permanently during each week, but can get the bus to Cusco for beers etc for a night or 2 at the weekend. Just let me know when/where, Tom P.S. It may take a while to acclimatise, so donĀ“t hit the beers too hard upon arrival!!

Fun times Dear Mattabore, (nice eh?)
Apologies for not keeping up with adoring messages, it does seem like you're having a much better time than at the start, and I can't decide how I feel about that. Pleased you haven't been killed by any of the Australian beasties yet, and I realise that this is a family site so if anything interestin/embarrasing/disgusting happens with a girl, or in a girl-type situation, be sure to keep us updated. Its 8.40 on a rare timetabled morning off and I've got to get back to work, I have an exam on Friday, rehearsals tonight and Thursday and a rugby match tomorrow. West side.
It looks like your jokes are no better than when you were 6 and you used to walk around sucking your fingers and reading your Ha Ha Bonk Joke Book!!But sadly they still make me chuckle!Really must go...going to be late for work. x x x x x
Phew! It was alright in the end...phew!Im v. pleased about your Ipod..not a good thing to loose. I am reading your blog at 8.00am when I should really be in school but some things are more important!I am also hoping that the sun will suddenly come out, so that the thick ice that is covering my car will melt so that I dont have to scrape it all off!I love hearing all your news so keep writing + putting pictures up.Loads of love..a very chilly Babs x x
Food glorious food... I love the detail in which you describe the food you have eaten before you describe the place you are visitng!!All those years of having Judy's lovely cooking are affecting your blogs!!! I am glad you are still enjoying yourself. Im off to eat a slice of goats cheese quiche, a glass of orange juice and a slice of coconut cake. Bye for now x x x x
lovely What a great time your having, the beaches look beautiful and u seem to have quite a few friends- things are looking up! The 4x4 trip sounds great, i'm sure u were very kind to the fat annoying girls, it must have been like cuming bk to Warrington. Got a parking ticket, less good than walking on the beach. The sea is so blue! Please put more photos on, i love looking at them.
Mum keeps forwarding ur texts so keep them up 2. Looking forward to the nex exciting stage of the Mattatour (Pauly was fairly funny), lots of love xxx
p.s. hows the wife hunt going?!x
Finding yourself! Looks like you are finding the things you like and the type of people you like are pretty much the same where ever you are in the world! At least you know how Dad feels when he is packing the car for one of our famous 'self catering' hloidays!Have fun! Mum xxxxx
Why there are no additional comments Largely because you are too idle to update your blog, so you are losing your readers.
Alternatively; please reassure me you haven't taken my last comment seriously, and gone swimming with the certain death jelly-fish.
Alternatively; that would not be all bad though, as I could continue to use your bedroom as my dressing room.
Watch out for sand-snakes on Fraser Island..........
Daddy
Sunday Lunch Hey Matthew,
We at the Gall household have all been reading your travelblog! Sounds like lots of fun! Today we met up with your mum and dad as well as Papa for Sunday Lunch near to Erskine! Was good to catch up and I think everybody ate far too much! Certainly I did!
Take care and keep up the good blog work! xx
lengthy good emails mattador! I am pleased that ur keeping us so well updated, I love hearing about all ur news. Dave was so jealous about the cricket, more so because you don't enjoy or understand it! We're all going out 4 Julia's 21st 2nite which will b good. 28 of us are going for a meal at Antibo's and then to rescue rooms- didn't get 2 sleep til 5am last night (Fri) or Wed- you are a disgrace with al our early nights, man up and live a little!! Ha well teaching all next week so no more fun to be had in a very long time. I am still jealous of you, although Hannah went to Manc yesterday to book our girly holiday, I REALLY want to go to Benidorm woo woo!! I think my vote was a little ignored...
Hey ho, really nice to hear from you via text and I hope to hear from you soon. Let me kno if you can skype for a min at some point.
Stay safe bruv, lots of love xxx
Be happy - another attentive comment Helloooo Nuf - Sorry for the general lack of attentiveness from your adoring Mattatour Fans. I'm at work. And its Saturday. But I have been royally distracted looking at your photos and catching up on your exciting sunburn stories. You're obviously not meeting the right sort of girls... I'm know plenty who would be mightily impressed by a bloke reading Wuthering Heights... Hmm... but I suppose I am nearly 30 ;-)
Your new phone number didn't show up - guess the blog prob removes all numbers and weblinks - so pop it up on facebook or try spelling it out.

Why cricket is baffling to the Mattador Matthew,
Cricket is a game that dies out if you're no good at it.
That has already happened in Scotland, and is likely to happen in England.
You don't understand it because you're half Scottish, which may also explain your apparent inability to make AND KEEP a high friends tally.
Maybe swimming with the certain death jelly-fish would have been an easy way out..............
Love you lots,
Daddy
I have only been outside Europe once. I can barely get through a day without forgetting at least two or three important things. I have no idea what I'm doing and may not have been properly immunised.
