Well, bear with me, since these German keyboards are very annoying, because they put the damn 'Y' where our 'Z' usually is, it's amazing how many 'Y' we use. After my short 5 day visit in Linköping, Sweden, I headed down south. I went to Copenhagen, Denmark for two days. My first impression wasn't good. I thought the city was quite dirty, of what I could see physically anyways. The centre of town was very dirty I thought, you saw a lot of homeless people, drinking beer and the whole nine yards, but I thought meh, it will get better. Hello everyone, I'm currently in Linköping, Sweden. I came here to visit my old friend from Sudbury - Fredrik. I am leaving tomorrow for Copenhagen, Denmark. I only stayed here for a week, which is a fair amount of time, and I have to let Fred do his school work - we don't want him to fail do we! I arrived in Stockholm, Sweden on September 4th. Unfortunately, after a decent plane ride, my ears didn't pop, I really don't like that, it annoys the hell out of me. I took the Arlanda Express to Stockholm, it takes about 20min from the airport. I am currently trying to find something to do on my last day in St. Albans. This small town is great, offers a lot of tourist attractions, and the whole nine yards - unfortunately I've unable to find a suitable pub :( I will write an entry once I get to Linkoping, Sweden. I just wanted to let everyone know how much of a thrill the Kubrick painting course really was. We spent Saturday and Sunday painting from 10am till 5pm. I'll tell you right now, painting is a complicated and energy consuming art form. I was completely tired after the day was over (the jet lag didn't help either), but once I got to my room around 6pm in St. Albans, I went straight to bed. Well, I finally arrived in London at 830am UK time. Unfortunately our plane was delayed for about 90min back in Ottawa due to thunderstorms. After going through a 90min wait at Passport check (at Heathrow), I then took the Heathrow Express to Paddington station in the heart of London. Since I was tired, dirty, and hungry, I went straight to my B&B which is very near Victoria station - on Warwick Way. It's a pretty nice location, since Victoria is located on the Circle line of the Tube system, which has easy access to other main stations. I am at an internet cafe across the King's Cross/Thameslink station right now, it cost me a pound to write this, so read it, and enjoy it :P I'm going to Piccadilly circuit now, to check out the usual ... read more
