Its soon to be two years since we returned from our travels, in that time many things have happened, but I feel that it’s a shame not to complete this blog as its something for us to go back and read if not anyone else. I shall give you my account of what happened once myself and Jaya parted ways with Manjit. Well on 24th of June me and Jaya waved quite a tearful goodbye to Manjit (which involved a local as per usual taking the piss). Soon after we left Malaysia to get an overnight train to Thailand. The train had pull out beds like you see in the movies so I was most impressed, and it was the easiest border crossing that I’ve ever had. We arrived in Thailand and I have to admit ... read more

Yes you have read correctly we are no longer taking the world by storm together. Myself and Jaya have parted ways with Manjit. Jaya and I are travelling to Cambodia to work in an orphanage and Manjit is continuing her journey with her dad before heading of to India on the 9th of July. Im not quite sure if you have heard this title before but it is what we have named ourselves after our many mishaps which seemed to cause the locals much amusement, you could often hear one of us commenting 'the los tres plumos strike again.' Although we have gone our own ways by no means are our travels over. Thats all from me for now. ... read more

Malaysia is kool dont get me wrong but 4 me i have 2 admit what sums it up is the incrediable food. I was part and parcel of introducing jaya and manjit to tamil food. We will take away kadala vadas from the experience, (its snack food made from dale and u can get it in most tamil shops - ok not that im advertising 4 them or anything). Oh and i can speak tamil but these guys really confused with their accents, so I felt like a plum everytime that I spoke 2 them in tamil, then i just looked like the snobbish westerner who didnt know tamil, what to do. However there is more to Malaysia then their food, in cameron highlands, we did a two and a half hour hike uphill, which u ... read more

Kuch Be Hota Hai If you are wondering about the strange title, well i think it perfectly sums up Indonesia. As a loose translation for all you non-Hindi speaking people it means anything can happen in Indonesia and it invariably does. Whether its soaking up the rays in Bali, climbing a volcano in Flip Flops, going to see a Ramayana ballet at the back of an ancient temple complex or having Indonesian Pharrel Williams type sing Kuch Kuch Hota Hai to us in Jaya's Pub in Jakarta. Anything can happen there. From the beginning. Our first stop in Indonesia was Bali. Bali is an incredibly beautiful place, its the only Hindu Island in the Muslim archipelago and this has a strong influence on the culture and its people. Everywhere you go, there are beautiful Hindu temples, ... read more

so the famous red centre: we went to alice springs from where we went to the red centre where we saw uluru (which is ayers rock), the olgas and kings canyon. we saw each one over the 3 days and they were amazing sights to see.... the rock was just like u see in pictures.... we walked around the base which took about 1 1/2 hrs and there are so many flies... just tooooooooooo many, but we were lucky as it is coming up to winter now so there were many less than there there usually are, which means it must be awful in the summer! we saw the sunrise and set there.. the setting was nicer i think and also cos we didn't have to wake up at 5am to see it! but unfortunately my ... read more

Whitsundays Basically Whitsundays is where we go on a sail boat, the first day was awful, plain awful. It was windy and rainy and basically we all wanted off it. The second day was much better, they take u 2 this island and its sand was used 2 make the hubble space telescope, so clear and beautiful. Then u go 2 another island where manj did an intro dive - she goes that u have 2 really concentrate on your breathing. We then did snorkelling, the coral is very pretty and fish are so cute. We got 2 watch a sunset which is always beautiful. Also we saw loads of shark swimming rd our boat, very kool. Oh in these waters u have 2 wear full diving gear even when snorkelling, so u look like plums ... read more

for this trip we were in a group of 11, luckily everyone was really nice so it was a good trip. we had to drive a 4x4 toyota landcruiser round the island, which was sooo much fun!! i am definitely like my dad cos i love to drive... i need to drive somethihng bigger like a lorry or something now! this was bigger than the taxi we usually get when we go india with 3 seats in front and 2 benches in the back where 8 people sat. theres no tarmac roads and the roads inland are dodgy dirt like tracks, which is just sand and then theres the beach where we mainly drove on, which was really cool! i was very impressed by myself!! we saw the sights of the island like the lakes and ... read more

After NZ it was good to be surrounded by ppl, it was a city and i was happy. We stayed in Kings Cross and it is basically Sydneys equivalent 2 Soho, it was an experience. We not only visited the opera house but we put on our glad rags (well as much as we could muster 2gether) and went 2 watch a ballet, it was pretty kool. The show was great and we were really lucky that we could catch one. Oh and we were really lucky coz we got 2 see a firework display on sydney harbour bridge i was most impressed. There underground system is beta than ours, however since its very new they would be pretty stupid if it wasnt, thats my defence 4 london. Oh i gota mention manjs cricket ground or ... read more

this is our last day in fiji, which has been great! it is unbelieveably like india... the smell, food, people, weather.. and when it stopped raining we actually saw what we had come to see ie blue skies, seas and beaches! we stayed on another island for the past 4 days- called mana island. cos we obviously aint got as much money to spend we stayed in a backpackers place.. but it was right next door to where tom hanks stayed when he filmed castaway! and apparently the island where they filmed it is just like it looks in the movie.. we had real mamas to look after us who cooked our food, cleaned our room and always had a smile and a 'bula' (hello in fijian) for us.. it was really nice! we also went ... read more

OK as our blog is way behind its an overview of NZ from me - Suhi. Ok highlights would be that we drove through NZ we drove Cedric in the North island and Jasmin in the South island and these were our homes along with Johninder, which was a tent. So yes we camped NZ, which was an experience not an altogether bad one either. Oh except in Queenstown Jaya woke up and touched the outside of the tent, it had been frozen over - we were wearin like 7 layers - boy it was cold. The scenary in NZ is mind blowing, everything seems like picture boards but its real, the sheep out number the people, im not sure how i feel bout that esp if they decide 2 take over. Also did a few ... read more
