Last day today, we go on the coach from Brighton to Heathrow at 7.55am tomorrow. Carol is making us some cheese scones for the trip, just in case we get the munchies on the way. Today was a beautiful day,29 degrees, a scorcher for this part of the world. We made the most of it and went to see the Bluebell Railway with Carol and Ernie. Love those steam trains! Hello all, here's some pics from Eastbourne, lots of zimmer frames and little old ladies. ;-) Just kidding, it was very nice, Carols' friend Keith, who lives in Eastbourne, was our tour guide for the day. We caught the train from Lancing, changed at Brighton, trains that is. ;-) On the pier there is a camera obscura, built in the late 1800's and it's still working, amazing. Made it to Amsterdam after a five hour plus train trip from Hameln Germany. Pissing down rain here, both saturated! WTF! Found the hotel without too much drama, and guess what? We're on the top floor and the stairs are like ladders. The room is tiny as well lol! Anyhoo, found a net cafe near the Central Station so time to have a go at uploading some pics.
