Mountains, forests, roads hugging the hills along the coast with H2O falls roadside, little villages, pub, beaches & very skinny roads. (The roads r 2 way but most of the time u can only just fit 1 so if another car comes u havta back it up to a wide spot) We stayed in a little village called Catherdaniel for a night in a little hostel that we had to our selves. There was a real nice beach & lads where having a [View Full Entry]

DAD!?! Europe » United Kingdom » England » Lancashire » Parbold
What the! Dad?! Your meant to back home not in Manchester! He had decided to come and meet us at the train station (great grey cell work to get the timing) and surprise us, and he did! So we all caught the train to a little town called Parbold in between Manchester & Liverpool. We stayed with one of mum & dad’s friend’s Mary (really great lady). Mary was so good she took us on tours of the surrounding areas, to Wigan pier & museum, the Liverpool docks, to meet friends that took us on hikes around the country side & [View Full Entry]

More wine, more cheese & more bread!! Luvin it! I kept trying to speak french but i always ended up saying "Par lay vou engla" ( do you speak English) Tours is a real nice city, it has the la lier river running through it & a whole area of the city is really old school (100's of years old). Tours is in a area that has a tone of castles, so we went on a tour (me, mum & 2 japs). We had a french guy driving us around in a mini van & this lad was a crazy driver! [View Full Entry]

I luv eating in France! The food is great & there is heap's of it! ( i even eat frog's & snails and loved em!) A typical meal in France: Apperitive (alcoholic bev to start) then appetizer, then main, then fromage (cheese) then dessert & finish with coffee. And there is always plenty of cut up bread sticks on the table and tasty wine & you can get it good and cheap (€1 or €2 about 3 bucks). We stayed with a french family that mum met in AUS & they where so great. Pascal was a master chef & he [View Full Entry]

"Oh shit! Sorry mate!" I mean "Pardon monsieur!" This is me on the metro in rush hour in Paris with my huge pack on my back knocking French lads left right & center! We stayed 3 nights in Pari (the french don't like to say the letters at the end of words) and it was great, so many famous things to see. Mum booked a heap of stuff back in AUS before she came, which was great. So for 2 days we had a bus tour but u could get on & off when ever you want and catch the next [View Full Entry]

Wow! London has some pretty impressive stuff to see! we (me n mum) stayed in a hotel for the first 3 nights, in Victoria (close to the center of town). So for a couple of days we walked around the city and saw the sights. First we went to Buckingham palace & saw the changing of the guards (the red dudes with the funny hats). Then we walked through St James park to the palace of Westminster, houses of Parliament & Big Ben. Then on the way back we checked out Westminster abbey & cathedral. The next day we went on [View Full Entry]
