Yes we have finally found them and got photos to prove it! We are now in Melbourne after Tasmania we went back to the Central Coast where we enjoyed the wedding, the bride was beautiful, the groom was handsome and we all ate, drank, and danced. We had time to meet all the bride & grooms family & friends who treated us as if they were our friends and welcomed us into their homes and cars and showed us the sights and told us stories. In Gosford we went to the Reptile Park for our 1st roo experience. The kangaroos are in a fenced area called free range area that has picnic tables BBQ and kangaroos Then in Melbourne we went to Gumbya Park that had bigger roos that we fed and got the well ... read more

We are in Tassie and yes you read right it is the last stop before Antarctica don’t think we have ever been this far away from home before Tasmania is a beautiful state full of mind-blowing scenery. Today we took a tour that drove thru picturesque fishing villages down the Tasman peninsula to Port Arthur. A prison for repeat offenders that closed in the mid 1800's After the penal colony closed 800 or so tourists took a boat walked among the ruins, danced in the mess hall and locked each other in cells for fun and a tourist attraction was born. So today in the spirit of things we learned of convict’s lives in Port Arthur which was self sufficient even making their own boots it is also the scene of one of the most ... read more

Yea it rained in the Blue Mountains so we couldn’t see much except fog but Lo and behold Tuesday morning- sunshine! So we headed to Scenic World took the steepest railway in the world down to the jungle floor and after some bushwalking back up on a cable car The Blue Mountains are really blue! They get that color from the eucalyptus trees Probably the only place like that in the world. Australia is home to many plants and animals that cannot be found anywhere else in the world including the kangaroo which Frank has been on a quest to see. The closest he's gotten is to pose for a picture with his arm around a cardboard one. Not quite what he was expecting but we haven’t left yet!!! Unless you want to count the ... read more

We spent our 1st evening of our extra time in Thailand on the beach at Rai Lei. We walked the island, had Thai massages and swam in the pool. We enjoyed a dinner on Rai Lei East with wine and Thai dishes. Back to Geckos Bar we enjoyed a fire show and a Thai boxing demonstration. In the morning it was back to our usual routine- a long tail boat to Karabi where I was stung by a jellyfish and onto a songtheaw before we hopped onto a ferry with a very narrow walkway to be deposited in an air-conditioned tin can under the boat. Arriving at Phi Phi we secured a bungalow for 650 baht a night thanks to Mike superior negotiation skills. For 2 nights in Phi Phi we enjoyed the scenery and ... read more

Country: Thailand City:Rai Lei- an island with no motor transport We walked a long windy hill that circled around and around to arrive at what felt like the middle of no where surrounded by tall, tall cliffs so hidden if you didnt know it was there you could never guess. I imagine you could only see it from the sky. As the sun went down the lights came on from an out door bar that had only a partial roof (no walls) . The rest of the place ( chairs, tables) was amoung cliffs, grass , trees and plants . It felt as if we were in a movie on a desserted island and I knew I could never explain how surreal it felt. My pictures dont even do it justice. ... read more
