seen it done it groundhog day right enough. we visited all the same places including bodega bay. Did that the second time with Richard. we loved CA although Richard was'nt convinced that Santa Barbara was normal, it spooked him.
you brought a tear to my eye most of the places you visited in CA i can relate to you i just wish you had been there when i lived there how cool would have that have been thanks for the memories xx sooooooo glad your back missed you soooooo much
:( Your adventures all looked amazing, bet you are gutted to be back home - it'll be a hard few months adapting again to normality!
Will see you at Cheryl's birthday party! Lindsay.x
I remember the Russian River well I'm jealous as hell you know. I remember when they used to dam the Russian River @ Healdsburg every year to create the swimming lake ~ used to be an excellent day out.
Enjoy Yosemite. I remember that too >> must still have some brain cells left (can't be drinking enough wine) !!
Emm and I had dinner in the "Dome" last night ~ it was really good. The Bonne has been taken over by the Blair's (a la Elliot's, Scott's etc) and re-furbed and re-launched. Bet you and your pal are there the night after you're back Eileen for a seriously HUGE girly gab and a few glasses of Mammy Mine !!
Enjoy what's left of your hols. Re-entry (back in Prestwick) will be such a huge disappointment >> back to reality !!
RR

Enjoy California Head up to Sonoma and check out the wineries. If you ever want to see your golf clubs again bring back a bottle of something really special (like a bottle of Sebastiani, Glen Ellen or some other esoteric red) and a sourgough loaf.
Only kidding, just bring back Eileen >> her pals desperate to see her.
Don't worry about the golf clubs John. They're in safe hands. Cash Converters came highly recommended you know !!
See you two soon,
RR
Sarasota Hi son,
Great to hear you two are enjoying your holiday. We rember all the places we went especially the fantastic beach at Lido and Siesta Keys. Are you going to Busch Gardens? We have left Nica, back in Costa Rica. Tomorrow we are going to the Caribbean side.
Can´t wait to see the two of you. Love Dad xxxxxxxxx
We're staying in Lido key, went to the world famous tiki hut on the beach, don't know if I remeber correctly but think last time we were here we tried to find it and couldn't. Thinking of you a lot round here cos everywhere we go i remember being here with you and mum. Central america's sounding fun, you're obvioulsy much better than me and Mhairi at haggling, we would probably have been robbed by now! Giant's causeway is beautiful, but some drive up there, but obviously not as far as you've just travelled!
Keep having fun, not long now till you're back in the homeland - see you there.

re twitchers Hello Marian
The Humming Birds are amazing, could watch them for hours. Will soon be back for meal deals in Elliots. Really looking forward to it.
Miss you loads. Love John and Eileen xxxxxxxxxxxx
re twitchers hi you two haven't heard of any of those birds except the humming bird when we lived in california we had a bottle brush tree outside our dining room and we had all the local humming birds come and feast on it, it was a spectactular sight. glad you are still having so many adventures and still miss you so..... much. love to you both marian xxx
Hot Stuff Hi Carol, I doubt Eileen will ever moan about stagecoach again, after travelling on the ´ chicken bus ´ The amount of wildlife we have seen has been amazing, just left an area in Nicaragua where bull sharks are to be found in the lake, needless to say we never ventured a swim. ps the pics of the family look great!
hot stuff!!!! hey you two, i take it you'r still having a ball?? the amount of wildlife you've seen must be great - things you would only see on the tv back home! the volcano looks amazing-so alive!!!!!!! the rope slide or "death slide" looks good but you know me i'm a bit of a coward so i don't know if i would have the guts for it. i take it when you get back there'll be no complaints about "stagecoach"?? looking forward to the next instalment,
take care + be safe lol,

catching up Hi Ray,
Had to include the ¨Toe ¨Only had a few photos because of the downpour. Lots of good snaps to follow, we are staying in a rainforest underneath an active volcano. Take Care, John and Eileen xxxxx Say hello to Marian
Caught up with you two at last............ This work stuff's been getting in the road ~ but somebody has to do it I suppose.
Still, I did take comfort from that very sore looking big toe. Why did you put it in your blog ?? Were you looking for a sympathy vote ~ well that's just never going to happen, is it ?? But while we're on the subject have I told you about my piles recently ?? God damn it, the weather's got them all hot and bothered.
I'm convinced I'm sitting down on a bunch of grapes all the time ??
