So, the uniting of a crew that only fully disembarked about 4 weeks ago...Consisted of 6 members...A Welsh girl named Heleed...('Hell' for short)...A funny german Yan, Scouse Rachel, Manc partners Emma and Jo...and the delightful burnsie of the irish contingent! All united their swords in battle to take on what was suppost to be a peace mission but unfolded into complete slaughter... But we'll continue that in a second, because firstly...there is the whole story of the train journey to undertake... Sraight from the jungle to the nearest town on a clapp't up local bus that was really...and I mean really struggling to get up them hills!!! Upon which we met heleedd the welsh whale! (but she was pretty cute, so of course burnsie made a move - what do you take me for!!!?) Anywho...Turned ... read more

And so, after the party celebrations, a slightly light headed Mr. Byrne had to make his way through the underground system and over to the travel Agent to catch his VIP bus into Kuala Lumpur (K.L. baby!). Malaysia here we come. Pretty crazy coming out of Singapore as we drove for literally about 20 -30 minutes, past a Lamborghini dealership which had the sexiest Lambo Ive ever seen in my life and then past all the cranes of the shipyard, looking out for Maersk containers with a tradewood stamp on them..he he, and literally over a bridge...A pretty long bridge at that, but over the bridge through the passport border control...and there you have it, cheerio Singapore! So small... Arriving into KL beside what is known as the Times Square shopping Mall and a starbucks...I stopped ... read more
So then…stage 2 done…Oceana…tick, well 2 of your countries anyway. Things are getting scary as I am now entering the final phase of my trip, well gallivanting hobo style around the world anyway…! And I still wish that next lotto ticket I buy will be the lucky one, because I don´t want this to end, and this seems my only viable option if I wish to continue living as a tramp! Anyway, after I cried a bit on the plane then accepted the luxury of the quantas flight with a few jars of whisky and a few movies from their extensive collection, I awoke to night sky and the sultry lights of Singapore. I was in Asia, well Western Asia to be fair, but still Asia - Let stage 3 commence!…. First impressions in the airport ... read more

Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie - wheh wheh wheh...Ozzie - wheh Ozzie - wheh Ozzie Ozzie Ozzie wheh wheh wheh.... So, country numero 7, but still in stage 2...only a wee short flight across the sea to Sydney baby yeah, where opera singers sing in funny shaped arched buildings and big iron bridges symbolizing the height of the industrial period grace the bay, plus apparently there's more sunshine than Ireland - but what do I care, I spent 5 months in South America!!!! And so, a friend called Torso (whom I met in Buenos Aires) had delightfully prepared to pick me up and escort me back to his personal hostel - his families house to prepare me for a fright and a half when I had to grace my eyes over that beast of a sister they call ... read more
Okay, so Frodo and Samwise had been travelling for a fair amount of time, I'd say roughly 3 weeks, on their little hobbit toes alert for any danger and seagulls plopping on their heads! They came across some small villages and then stumbled upon 'PUZZLE WORLD' ! May sound awesome but believe me it isn't, I pulled out all my hair over this silly wooden block game, it was like for toddlers and infants with an age sticker on the side that said up to the age of 8 - so I chopped the blocks with my teeth and jammed them into position... Queenstown then, I need a refreshing drink after that stress..... ....and so...... Past the Ice Caps, through the stingy nettle Forest, up over the hills into the Bays of Plenty, across the gorge ... read more

If it at all ever makes any sense, you are better persons than the likes of a being like me is to be able to understand it…! So yeah, I’m still in bloody Bolivia, when in fact I’ve travelled 4 weeks through Argentina, saw loads of other stuff (including 2 more Christs, and a lot more mountains)…then I jumped on a jet plane for the first time in 5 months…WOW….that experience deffo beats a bus any day - 11 hours on a plane…I could travel to space and be happy on a plane after my toll with buses over the last 6 months!!! ... read more
So, a quick tour entry blog journal doot doot here…This was were we did the proper tourist feeling and ran like hell through most of Bolivia over little time and covered almost everything offered to us from within the Lonely Planet…Starting in Sucre (apparently the nations capitol, although argumentative) for old school Jurassic Juxtaposition Juggling Jitterbugs….DINOSAUR TRAX…then to the world’s richest Silver mine (in one of the world’s poorest countries)…and finally to a whole lot of nothing..! Basically as far as the eye can see - all right if you like salt on your chips! So, Dinosaur tracks which weren’t really dinosaur tracks - probably…I reckon some kid was having fun with a compass and etched out some patterns in the side of a rock…! Any way…met our tour guide called JC…not the son of the ... read more
