We're two young Aussies who are ready to experience and explore the world! We'll be based in the UK, for a working holiday, and country hopping every chance we get. We don't mind a drink, and a dance after the booze kicks in, and we are always looking for new adventures! We might even end up on your couch... See you on the other side of the world!

Our stopover in Boppart, and St Goa was one purely for a sleep and rest stop. The hotel was nothing to brag about. The Rhine Valley Cruise was nice, after we ran down a mountain to make it in time! Was getting dark by the time we booked and got on, so didn't see too much, but it was nice all the same. We had a drunken night out in Boppard. Dinner and drinks with our tour group. Drinking games back at the hotel, and a terribly hungover bus ride into the Netherlands the next day! Not for us, for the heavy drinkers at the back of the bus! We stopped on the way in Volendam, Netherlands to see the Windmills, and again at a cheese and clogs factory. We got to see how cheese is ... read more

I know, I know! Bit behind... So Switzerland. Another amazing country. After leaving France, we headed to the Jungfrau region. We stayed in a really nice hotel in Interlakken at the bottom of the Jungfrau railway system. The first night we arrived at dinnertime, so didn't have much time to do much sightseeing. We had a group dinner, and Craig discovered a potato dish called rosti. After dinner we went out for drinks with a few of our tour buddies. We found a nearby bar and ordered some drinks... I ordered a vodka, and the friendly man behind the bar (who we weren't sure understood us) decided he'd pour one of all his coloured vodkas! It was one of those panicky tourist moments when you think you've just blown all your money on overpriced drinks. BUT ... read more

Hello! This is part one of our Christmas and New Years tour. We visited 5 countries over 10 days, so you can imagine that there's quite a lot to write about. We left London for Paris. Again, on the dreaded ferry from Dover to Calais. We arrived in Paris at our hotel around 6pm. After checking in we headed out with our tour group on a night walking tour of Paris. We climbed the many stairs to the top of the Sacré Coeur in the Montmartre district of Paris. This is the arty district of Paris, where you can get your portrait drawn or just sit and admire the view. Artists such as Picasso and Van Gogh used to visit the Montmartre area frequently. When we went, it was Christmas eve, so the Church was open. ... read more

Greetings! (of the Merry kind) This time our travels took us on a day trip to Bruges (Brugge), Belgium. Craig won a day trip at a travel expo that we went to, so off we went! Bright and early. Departure time was 6:30am from London, by coach. Ferried to France, then continued onto Belgium. When we got to Bruges, we had about 5hrs to explore the town. We started with the traditional Belgium Waffle. AMAZING! (I should note here that a lot of what we did was eat + drink) Nutella and whipped cream waffle to share = great start to the trip! The town was beautiful. So festive, with every store getting into the Christmas Spirit. There were horse drawn carriages transporting people through the town, toy stores, lace shops, chocolate stores (every 3rd shop!!) ... read more

Hello Everyone! Sorry we've been so slack in writing this blog! I don't know why it's taken this long to get organised, seeing as this is my birthday holiday! But oh well, here we go: October 4th we left London - bit of a frustrating journey to Gatwick airport, rather forget that one (but thanks to my complaining skills, I managed to get credited the fare paid for that bus journey) We arrived in Corfu (one of the many Greek Islands) around lunch time, checked into our ALL INCLUSIVE hotel and changed out of our London clothes and into our beachwear! All inclusive hotels are awesome! Buffet meals, snacks, drinks (including alcohol) and entertainment all 'free' (as in included in the cost of the holiday) We cetainly made good use of that in our week there. ... read more

Hallo! So, Craig and I have returned from our trip to Germany for Oktoberfest. We spent 15ish hours driving from London to Dover, then catching the ferry to Calais, France, driving through France and reaching our campsite in Munich, Germany. We did our tour through Busabout, and they were fantastic. Met so many people and took a lot of drunken photos... you'll see some, but some should never be seen! hehe! We arrived earlier than expected for our 1st day in Munich, so we managed to quickly change into our sexy orange tour shirts and jump on the shuttle bus to the Oktoberfest grounds. Our tour guide described it as Adult Disney Land... it has all the rides, food, games, souvenir shops PLUS beer! The beer halls were HUGE! and there were so many giant beer ... read more

Hola! What a trip! We're both exhausted but had amazing times in Valencia for La Tomatina (the Tomato fight) and Ibiza for partying and relaxing. Here's what we got up to: Valencia, Spain. Home of the Valencia Orange for those of you who are thinking that rings a bell.. We did a tour with The Fanatics, along with about 1500 other people for La Tomatina. We set off pretty early in the morning from our place in Acton at around 1am, having to catch 2 night buses, then a shuttle to the airport for a 7:30am flight... Arriving early in Valencia to check into our hotel (and very tired from the journey) We changed from our London gear (jeans and jumpers) into our beach gear as soon as we could! We then were told where we ... read more

First off, let me apologise, once again for the delay in updating the blog. (and also, for forgetting what we've already posted...oops) OK, Edinburgh! The annual Fringe Festival was on, we had a free weekend, so booked ourselves some cheap bus tickets and jumped on board the 9hr bus ride through England to Edinburgh, Scotland. Of course, when we arrived, it rained. But after that it didn't really rain again, so we were lucky. We checked into our overpriced hostel... which was quite a nice room, but the bed was shocking. imagine springs... and a sheet over it. yeah... we didn't sleep well in Edinburgh, but we had a lovely kitchenette and ensuite, just not a good bed. We used our kitchen to make pasta (thank you local 24hr Tesco) and saved a few bucks there. ... read more

hey guys, We've been really lazy lately, so I'm back-dating a few entries... apologies... So, for Craig's birthday I bought him a super car driving experience. Basically he got to choose 3 out of 4 cars, and then got to drive them around an airfield in hot laps... The cars were: Porsche, Lotus, Ferrari and Subaru WRX and there was an upgrade available to drive an Audi A8 or something... I'm really the wrong person to be writing about cars... ANYWAYS! He chose the Porsche, Lotus and Ferrari (which was red!) Unfortunately somebody ahead of him in the Porsche queue ripped apart the gear box... so anyone who wanted the Porsche got upgraded to the Audi for free. Craig had an absolute ball, as he never thought he'd ever sit in any of these cars, let ... read more

Hello all! First of all, let me just start this blog by saying YES, we are safe from all the riots. We have had quite an interesting week, with tube stations closing, shops being shut early, police patroling the streets, and nearby towns burning, and being looted. A few of the friends we've made here were right in the areas affected by the London Riots, but all have escaped unharmed and untouched by rioting morons. When Ealing was set upon, it was quite worrying, as thats only 15ish minutes from Acton Town, and we have visited there quite often. In fact we were there only earlier that day! Anyways, enough on the riots. You all heard about in on the news. We are safe, all good. Didn't get to go see Phantom of the Opera because ... read more
