Uhuuuu! After almost 2 months in Utila with rain, we arrived at Nicaragua with awsome weather! Leaving Utila itsef wasn't easy, we left a lot of good friends there, specially jonathan, the Irish guy who was travelling with us since Mexico... But OK, our (now just me and Phillip, the french canadian) first stop in Nicaragua was Leon, a really nice colonial city where we could check the churches there, eat delicious local food on the local market and do the Volcano Boarding tour, that was AMAZING! It was a little bit expensive, something like 20 Us dolars but worth it 100%, we went to the Cerro Negro Volcano, checked the crater, then we got the borads and boarded down it, was really fast and at the end i was completely covered by rocks, especially because ... read more

Yeah, since we decided to left El Salvador a little bit earlier than it was supposed to beacuse of the weather, I was expecting have only nice sunny and hot days at Honduras... Yeah, it didn't happen 100%, thanks to Paloma Hurricane... Leaving El Tunco (El Salvador) to Honduras was a loong way, actually 3 Chicken bus's days to get in Copan, the first stop in Honduras, to check the ruins there.... It was really nice, really impressing but 15 US dolars, Whaaat??, really expensive and for the price, I don't think it worth it... At least the weathear was nice, warm like home... Whatever, from there we decided to go to Bay Island, on the Carribean, good wheather, let's go to Caribbean man!! So lucky, arriving on the Island we just had 1 sunny day ... read more

Woooow! What a surprise! What was El Salvador? AMAZING! If you're in Central America and are planning to skip El Salvador 'cause it's dangerous, please, change your mind. El Salvador was a really nice country with the most friendly local people so far! Everybody helped us as we needed, not like in Guatemala where everybody try to "help" you and then charge you some money! And apart the friendly people, the country's touristic spots are really nice! Our trip (still me, Philip and John) was a little bit short in the country, but we enjoyed as well. The trip from Monterrico (Guatemala) to our first stop, Playa El Tunco was quite exhausting, one boat, 2 chickenbuses to the Guatemalan/El Salvadorian border, cross the border walking, one more chickenbus to Sonsonate, sleep in Sonsontate (we didn't want ... read more

What a crazy country! We (me and more 7 backpackers that i met in random places from Tulum to Caye Caulker) entered in Guatemala from Benque Viejo del Carmen, East border with Belize, in September 12th and we had a crazy experience there! From the border we got the local transport to Flores, was maybe one of the longest rides ' till now, but woth it, we saved something like 15 US bucks, but was defenitly crazy! In Flores we went to a really nice dutch-runned hostel called Hostal Los Amigos, really nice atmosphere and good prices! Inside the hostel we booked the Sunrise tour to Tikal, was a little expensive but woth it, the sunrise even cloudy was amazing! We arrived the site was still dark, then we climbed the highest pyramid to see the ... read more

After a crazy ride from the Belizean border to Belize City, I decided to move straigth to Caye Caulker when I realized that was nothing to do in Belize City! So I got the ferry to Caye Caulker and arrived in the evening. It is a really laid-back island, everybody is relaxed and all the local are rastafarian people, really nice! Actually there´s nothing special to do in the island than scuba diving, so I spent only 5 days there blowing my budget diving, but woth it ´cause was AMAZING! I did perfect dives in the local reef with turtles, sharks, sting rays, really beatifull! Belize as a country is really expensive, a beer is something like 5 dolars (in Mexico was 2 to 3 dolars) and you have to be carefull to don´t spend lot ... read more

UHUUUUUUUUU! Finally here! I spent the whole first week in Mexico city, it was awsome and i had the funniest experiences in my whole life! i arrived Mexico city at August 5th by the morning around 7 am, but i spent almost 3 hours to really "enter" in Mexico, because of the imigration but then, I took a metro to the Zocalo from the airport and arrived safely at the Hostel Catedral. It is a really nice hostel, very organized, clean, funny and with a really nice atmosphere. For sure one of the bests that I have been until now. There was in the last floor a terrace with a nice view from the whole Zocalo (Main Square) where I drank bottles and bottles of beers and uncountable shots of tequila. And I have been, also, ... read more

I bet it will be the longer month of all my life! = Visas: I researched what countries i really needed to get a visa before move to there, and the only ones are Mexico and Belize. Unfortunately the Belizean Visa i will get only at Mexico, because we don't have a Belizean Consulate here in Brazil. But this week i faced my efforts on take my Mexican Visa, it was a little boring and i got a little annoyed about the process, but finally i got it!
