well hello there people. how the hell are you all ? sorry that this is a quicky but i am on a dodgy computer in the middle of nowhere!! i am actually in majimup whch is in the south west of western oz. i am here doing fruit picking for my visa. basically its a little town with not much here except lots of farm animals grapes pears and apples!! i have been in cider heaven i can tell you and with all this alcohol i have been drinking, my teeth are starting to fall out so i am fitting in well as the locals think i am one of them!! hehheh!! before my two weeks in this redneck town i have been in perth which has been absolutely wonderful. in my view its way better ... read more

Hello again people. If u read my blog intitled HAPPY NEW YEAR!! You may have realized that it ended abruptly. This was because for some reason the rest of the blog didn’t save. It annoyed me so I am gonna send another one. To be fair we were near the end of my mumblings and if you have read the blog and looked at the pictures you will kinda realize where I was going anyway but here it goes……….. we headed off to the fireworks at rushcutters bay. Well well well people, HAPPY NEW YEAR!!! I bet you are all really happy nursing your hangovers and looking forward to the New Year ahead!! Any resolutions??? Drink less??, drink more?? quit smoking?? Join the gym?? Kill your boss?? The list is endless I know. It’s quite a nice memory if I look back to this time last year. I was looking at my life and realized that i was doing exactly the same as the year before, and the year before that. Something had to change, so I decided to go traveling. i bet you cant believe your eyes eh people?? another blog from the gillmeister!! unfortunately i aint got any photos on this one because i am in work and this one is off the cuff. i realized that most people are gonna be finishin work today (or sorry tomorrow as we are 11 hrs ahead) so i thought i would do my thing and send you all a Christmas message!! i am currently in work on my last day before chrimbo, its cool as no work gets done today, and i am goin on my chrimbo do! it should be a laugh. a 3 course meal in a swanky restaurant, 3 hrs free bar (in which i will take full advantage of) and salsa dancing lessons!!! watch out ladies, old snake hips is in town!! ha ... read more

Well well well what can I say people?? I am lazy. Very lazy. How long have I been here?? 7 weeks. Have I nothered to do a blog?? No. am I remorseful. No.. I mean yes. Anyways now that I have got the apologies over and done with I suppose its time to let you all know what I have been doing with my life in sunny ol Sydney. Sydney is wonderful. I am not gonna lie. It is really great. I have had the best time so far. We are living in an area called kings cross. touch down
well here i am again. at this precise moment i am sitting in an internet cafe in kings cross sydney. this is a cool city but more of that in my next blog. this installment is totally dedicated to my new favourate place in the whole world. Kota Kinabalu or KK as its affectionally known by the locals is on the west side of sabah, borneo. its the capital and is a city but only small compared to liverpool or sydney. we were there for a week and what a week it has been. we touched down after an immence time in the jungle and were looking forward to a nice week of sunning it on the beach. it was raining and the skies were grey due to fires in indonesia. i was slightly gutted to ... read more

Wotto people how the devil are ya?? Well when a certain Mr Axle W Rose stated "welcome to the jungle we'll have fun and games" he wasnt wrong!! After our amazing time in KL we landed in the east of borneo on the 5th of october. the flight was good and it was great to fly over an island of jungle. to be fair personally the whole thing had not quite kicked in and i wasnt really prepared for what we had in store but it was amazing. we ended up at sandakan airport about lunchtimeish and got a taxi to our operations base 30 mins from the airport. this was the the offices of UNkle Tans Wildlife adventures. it was nice to go from a bustling city to the borneo courtyside and there was a ... read more
