I will go back and fill in the blanks when I get chance.
Back here in Blighty and surfing between couches. Slept on three different ones the last three nights. So it's time to find a bed to call my own. Up this morning at 6am to go to the Labour Ready agency. Had to fill out forms and bring in documentation and sit a test. Got 100% in the test so I think I might be accepted into the labour ready community. The other employables who were registering this morning inexplicably failed to get all the answers correct, there is a very real chance that I may be working with fools. Those who turned up for work who were already registered were being sent to Asda and required black trousers for this highly respectable employer. That's another drain on my rapidly dissipating funds, I need to buy trousers

Looking for a bed for the night, if possible for a few nights so that I can find accomodation. The timing for returning is bad as it's the weekend and everything will be closed, housing / employment EVERYTHING. in a bad position

It says "international" on the side so I am assuming that it will be safe to ride back to England on. Unfortunately it only has only one speed slow, and is prone to being overtaken. Also there is a flaw in the braking system which requires one to pedal backwards in order to slowly grind to a peaceful halt. Even with the vast network of cycle paths, riding the city of Munich makes for an exciting experience.

It's important that you visit LEO WEBSITE and increase your knowledge of this cultural phenomena. For too long Munich has led the way artistically, it's good to see them take a backseat for once and copy other cities ideas. Today we visited the Deutsche Museum, the WORLD'S LARGEST AND OLDEST (science) museum. As well as lots of aeroplanes and boats there is a section dedicated to the Art of PRESSING BUTTONS.

There was a lot of laughter but that is no gaurantee of the level of humour. Yesterday when Lisa got back from work as a caterer we walked round the centre and saw SIGHTS. Not only NEW UGLY LIONS, but also a big tower that we climbed up and saw the city below and the mountains rising up from the horizon. We are going to those mountains in a few minutes and stopping off to row a boat across a lake. Yes we head out to the mountains in the car to see Lisa's hometown. Stop off at the lake but all the boats have

After a few hours of Lisa waiting for London planes the power of the mobile phone united us. It was this wonder of modern technology that has also made the photos possible as I haven't got any batteries for my real camera yet. All apologies for the quality. I'm really loving Munich, it's a fantastic, cultural city. The greatest thing is avoiding bicycles that everyone seems to ride. They are the old city style bikes that are larger than life and intent on taking it, once the rider has set off there is no stopping, and like Keenu the speed has to be kept insane. Bike lanes take precedence over all
... read moreYes, tomorrow I take to the wing again to fly to Munich, Germany to meet up with Lisa (see the Romanian entries..). Not sure what's going to happen out there, I have a flight back on the 4th November (in time for Bonfire Night), but if I can manage to get jobs I may stay on the road a few months and work my way back overland. This time I PROMISE to write and not neglect my duties to those readers who said they enjoyed my blog. It's a grey day here in Sheffield and hopefully not as bleak and cold and drizzly out there in Bavaria. And if any readers out there in Germany or France or someplace nearby want a hired hand get in touch! RAB

İ have NOTHİNG to return to and it certainly no longer feels like İ'm coming home as İ have no home to return to and no idea where İ'll be sleeping tomorrow night! İ think my time living in England is drawing to a close.. plenty of strong reasons. Difficult few days ahead yet again. İ've recovered from my illness and bought new clothes rather than take my falling apart jeans to the laundry. Along with miraculouslly finding my way through the mountains of Rila to the monestary and somehow cheating death. İ see with clarity now all the crap back "home" and who truly cares and is genuine. İ'm going to stay here until İ fly back on Tuesday there's still loads to see and do here in İstanbul and now İ'm back on my own İ can do the things İ want to. İ recommend this hostel Bahaus Hostel to anyone visiting İstanbul, there's a great sense of community here harking back to the sixties when this area was part of the trail to the East and İndia. It's really hot here and resembles a large junk shop where everything is London prices. EVERYONE wants to know where we're from why? The blue mosque is super impressive and today we went inside another mosque which has been turned into a museum. It was alright is this the kind of insisive reportage you were expecting, Slater? The food here is good but overall I'm not really in the right mood to enjoy the place. I've met up with Sarah and we're hanging out and that's all good.
