Argentina what a country... It took us 1 and a half hours to cross the boarder but it has been worth it. The food and women here have improved 10 fold and everything is cheap as (not the women the other stuff), i.e I picked up a decent snow jacket for like 100 bucks Australian when it would prob be worth double that back home if not more. Bariloche is another town sitting on a lake but it has a bit of a switzerland feel to it...there are a million chocolate shops. The steak here is the best i have ever [View Full Entry]

The city is fairly easy to orientate so i changed some money over and did a few things to prepare for my tour which starts tomorrow. I made a bit of a mistake in going to subway for breakfast...considering my spanish is so bad i decided to pick the place where they ask you the most questions for your order (bad idea)...yes my sub was totally not what i wanted but i know you would be proud of me dave! continued my stroll through some park when [View Full Entry]

This is a 2 part blog leaving home and arriving overseas Well i'm doing it again arn't i! This reminds me of the time i signed up for the army and was about to catch a bus down to boot camp...yeah i really didn't know what i was getting myself into! but that turned out to be one of the best things i ever did. A solo backpacking holiday in South America can't be any worse than that. Sure i barely speak any spanish, pretty much no portuguese and havn't really organised exactly where i'm going... but what is the worst [View Full Entry]
