Hello!! Sorry it has been a while since we wrote. We have been moving a lot and then not doing a lot at all. I´ll bring ya´s up to date. As the title suggests after Pucon and all the activities we decided we would like to find a nice quiet, hot beach to sit on for a few days or maybe a week. We heard about Pichilemu south of Santiago. Of course this was not an easy place to get to and after a lot of trapesing around we found a bus company who could get us there...well half way there. [View Full Entry]

So chicos, After the craic of paddies day it was time to move on. The 2 of us and some other´s we met in bariloche got ticket to go back into chile. We were heading for a place called Pucon where we were told it is possible to climb an active volcano ´Villarica´. Pucon itself is a beautiful little town just over the argentine border. It is surrounded by the andes and has a beautiful lake which it nice to swim in if a little cold. But seen as its around 27 degrees every day its a nice way to cool down. The first [View Full Entry]

Sorry for the delay but here is the results of the Paddys Day celebrations. As we told you last time we had convinced a local bar manager to let us have run of the bar. After spending 4 hours making decorations and a further 1 putting them up and a week of convincing people to stay on in Bariloche we ended up drinking across the road in an Irish owned Hostel with a load of Irish we had met during the week. And it was brilliant. This wasn´t our intention of course we just got carried away. All in all in [View Full Entry]

You lucky things...its another double whamy for yas. As we may have mentioned we are now back in Argentina, in Bariloche. We wanted to find a party town to relax in for a week and enjoy St Patricks day and we have definitely found it. This is a really nice place on a large lake to one side and Mountains to the other. It is a very flash ski resort in winter...with evidence of Argy decadance all over the shop. There is lots to do...so we decided to do some outdoorsy type stuff....being the fitness freaks that we are. Sunday we [View Full Entry]

Hey everyone. Guys cheers for all the emails and messages. Gar especially, you´re playing a stormer...good to hear the news from home and that you guys are still keeping track of what we are getting up to. The skiing photos, what we have seen of them, look great. Another year without injury too.....that´s a good record. Anyway we are back in Argentina. Another trek and a half to get here. Last time we spoke we were about to get a Ferry...we figured that would go off without much drama but we were wrong. We almost missed it because of a Fishermens [View Full Entry]

Buenos Dias, Now this may be a bit long winded but it is the tale of a 20 hour trip that turned into 3 days and our eventual surprising welcome to Chile! We thought we had it all worked out. Last time we were speaking to you we were going to get a bus to Los Antiguos in Argentina, get a 10 min bus ride over the border to Chile and a Ferry to Puerto Ibanez and a bus to Coyhaique. Simple. We started off on Wednesday at 8am on a lovely cool air con chariot, but were swiftly moved to [View Full Entry]

Hola Chicos! Hope you are all doing great. I believe the weather is getting a bit better so that´s good. And you are all off Skiing this weekend. You lucky lucky things. We are very jealous. Make sure to put lots of photos up on facebook so we can see what we are missing. And be careful of course. As for us, we are still in Patagonia, South Argentina. We camefrom Chile about 5 days ago...we had gone there so we could maybe do some trekking in the National Park near Puerto Natales. We found out all about it...towering granite peaks, [View Full Entry]
