After breakfast Evy and I walked out to the main road to get a taxi to go to Dahab City, which is a few km away from the seaside town. Within a few seconds a car passed us and honked, universal signal here for “Taxi ?”. Few of the taxis are marked here and you will never find a meter, so you need to know the price. Fortunately, this guy was fair and accepted the going rate without an argument. Dahab city is a bit of a disappointing place, with only a few low rise apartment buildings and little else.
