No worries Cynthia, just skip through the photos. There are a lot on Facebook which anyone can look at too, so help yourself. Take care, love From Sue.
Hi Ren, I'm responding on an iPhone so will keep it brief. We enjoyed our trip out to Murano for the whole experience - water bus included. It was interesting seeing the glass blowing but you don't need to pay like we did . The factory workers will steer you in their direction as you get off the bus but make sure you also head off to your right to see the main street of Murano which was quite nice. We would have liked to visit more islands but the fog was so bad that it got a little scary out on the water so we gave it a miss. Regards, Sue
saintas I suppose by now you have learned that we did not win, The Doggies almost doubled our score. in fact barry hall kicked 7 goals and five points so he had a good night. Never mind we like coming 2nd???? All is well with us, the weather is quite warm , high twenties. The boys have spoken to me and assure me that Sam is alive and well. We will see them next Saturday at Mia's party I went to Rees tonight while Bernie played Night Bowls. They are all OK. Next Sunday is Mirellas 70th Do at Firenze. Bernie and I went to see Tom Jones last Thursday and then to Marysville Friday for the day, to look to spend and appreciate their terrible losses. I am enjoying your blogs, you are quite the Travel Reporter, another string to your bow!!Hope you are 100%. Looking forward to the next installment. Do you feel closer to Dad now? Have fun and take care Mumxxx
venice looks fantastic! Hi Sue - Would you recommend the trip to Murano? We only have three days in Venice and I'm trying to prioritise islands! I love your photo of the lamp-post in San Marco's square...safe travels to Salzburg.
Cheers
Ren

news from home. All is well in Melbourne. We had A Daddy of all Daddy storms last Saturday and we all got a good drenching. Then on Sunday again. Some poor people had severe storm damage. Beth took photos of city streets running like rivers. I went to see all at 69 and all were good. Andrew answered Aunty Lindas invitation in quick time. I will ring again to say howdy to your boys. St Kilda play Bulldogs next Saturday, cross fingers for us. We have heard about your weather experience on the news, did you take cards to play while you were snowbound?" I'm Bored"
Hope the snow has melted and you are out gathering more pics and memories again. Take Care of your dear selves Love Mum/MIL2b xx
Well done Thoroughly enjoyed your adventures in Rome, I can feel your aching legs. I am guessing by the end of this trip you will be asking for The Lift .Nice work Darls
Thanks for sharing WOW...How wonderful....I am so enjoying the trip alongside you both, and growing some serious hankerings for a o/s adventure with the boys! Don't hold back on the "ramblings".
No competition Hi Matt,
Don't worry, you are THE writer in the family and I have no intention of competing. I just had all this stuff I needed to get down before I forgot it all. I don't think every blog entry will be quite as long (don't think the readers could cope). Once we are in the Chianni village access to the net may not be so good, so I have to make the most of it. Glad you enjoyed my ramblings.
Love from Sue and Dad xxx
