Hi David, thanks for taking the time to read and comment on the blog. I'm glad you are enjoying my stories. You could always meet mum over here - I'm sure she wouldn't take too much convincing to pack her bags and travel again. Regards, Sue
Sue This is David Howard your mothers friend from America. You really bring Europe to life and the pictures you take are stunning. It makes me want to go there again.
hi mum hi mum and ron, this is a great way of telling your story. i started to read these blogs after you had made 5, once i saw how big they were i decided that a snack will be required whilst i catch up with your trip! great stories and pictures. news: gazza still unsure about future, house is still standing, dog is alive, no one has bruises and the iron is off! look forward to following your stories, matt.
Holland Once again you have brought my travels back to me, not so much all the experiences you have enjoyed but the excitement of finding out about how others live in the wide world and the beauty of the buildings. Thanks for the phonecall, that was magic. Love Mum xxx
Hi Cynthia, yes Ron's parents came from Holland and he has a large extended family there. They made us so welcome and went out of their way to show us as much as possible while we were there. We are off to see the Eiffel Tower from close up now. Thanks for writing, love from Sue.
Amsterdam Hi Sue
It was lovely to hear about Holland brought back lovely memories of when I visited Maduradam and yes all the bikes.
I didn't know that Ron had dutch hertiage. I haven't read all the other posts but will get to them, very interesting reading while I have a break at PANCH.
Happy holidaying Cynthia
Hi Mariouz! Glad you are missing me but I am not missing work at all! Enjoying our time in Paris. Read all about it tomorrow I hope. I cant use this keyboard for long or I will chuck it as the keys are all hotch potch for me. Say hi to everyone at work for me. S xxx
Hi Aunty S, yes I got your message and I responded on the 18th. Glad you are enjoying the trip. You and mum should start planning again. It is very hard typing on this keyboard cause the keys are in different places so it is rather frustrating for me. Hope you enjoy the latest blog. Love from Sue xxx
Following with great interest Hi Sue and Ron, am thoroughly enjoying the journey with you. Keep on enjoying your dream. I sent a message the other day, did you get it, I wonder?. Love from Aunty Shirl. X
Hi Sue and Ron,
I love the photos and your updates. My travel desire increases with each of your words. And Sue C, I miss you heaps - lunch time is rather boring. Take care. Love Maria
Hi Grainne! Glad you got onto the blog scene. They are fun to write up, but access is always a problem. We just left Holland today and are in Paris (poor us). We have had lots of spring days, scattered between wet ones and snowy ones, so we can't really complain. Must go, have to write up today's news. Love to you all - Sue and Ron xxx
Thanks Shaz, glad you like them. I'm always in a rush to load them up though and I can only look at tiny photos so you pretty much get a mish mash of what is on offer. There are lots more to bore you with when we get home!
Oh there is always another risotto in Ron, Sharon - don't you worry about that! He made a really nice one in Tuscany and he only had a packet of frozen vegetables as a base, but boy was it yummy. We said it's a shame you aren't with us because you would have loved it! Hope all is well with you (and the boys). Say hi to them from Step-mamma will you. Love from Sue and Ron xxx
Fantastic Holiday Wow Sue and Ron - I finally was able to read your blogs - I didn't know how to access them before but Cynthia helped me today - what a fabulous holiday - everything sounds amazing - even seeing the fog looks great - you'll be moving onto warmer days with Spring warming up that side of the world. Glad to hear you are doing well and keep up the great blogging. Take care of each other - Grainne
Thanks Marmie, still having a great time. We are currently in Holland, but no time to blog. We have been spoilt by Ron's family and have been taken around the whole time we have been here, which has been wonderfu. Off to Paris tomorrow and will hopefully get another blog up then. Until then, love you Ma. xxx
Hi Aunty, Glad you are enjoying the blog because I am enjoying writing it up. The biggest challenge is finding a decent computer at the right time of day. You don´t want to be sitting at a keyboard in the middle of the day when you should be out seeing the sights. I told mum you girls should dust off the trackies and bumbags and get over here again. Will need to keep moving, so bye for now. Love to everyone, Sue xxx
Hi Marmie, just a quickie while we have a bit of internet time in Salzburg. Even we heard about the Clarke-Bingle breakup. No, it didn´t make world news, Ron saw it on the Age website. We continue to have a great time and will also keep doing the typical touristy stuff, cause it is fun. Love to everyone, S xxx
Pisa Glad you did the mad photo thing, you gotta do The Typical thing on holidays, yes we were surprised to swing around in the bus and there it was !!!Lara Bingle and Michael Clarke have split up after days and days of speculation in the newspapers/, thank goodness.
Green with envy Hi Sue and Ron, enjoying every moment of your holdiday with you as I read the blog. The beautiful snow in Chianni doesn't seem real, as we experience a late burst of summer in Mildura 36 deg. Loved reading about your experience when you had to go to the local doctor. (Sorry to hear you were unwell tho, but your story was so good). Continue to enjoy. Love from Aunty. XXX
Great posting! Hey Sue! I'm really enjoying reading about your travels and the amazing experiences you're having! I loved Austria as well, even though I was there many years ago! I have a new blog and am always looking for photos, reviews, etc. I enjoyed your post and would love to post anything you have to share with fellow travelers!
Happy, safe travels to you!
